mufti23
I hope this is the right place for my question: Will Vortex have built-in support for root mods like ENB presets or script extender? The reason I'm asking is because I started to write an ENB installer for Bethesda games but only because I didn't find a solution that fits my needs. It is NOT a feature request and I also think that root mods should not be in the domain of a mod manager but I just need to be sure so I don't waste my time.It would be very helpful if someone from the Nexusmods team could answer this 1st hand. Another things: Will your new website have a public API (REST or sth)?
Ethreon
Since it's going to allow user defined plugin, perhaps?
mufti23
I mean build-in, not as a 3rd party plugin (that's not predictable today).
Ethreon
No idea, though hopefully we get to find out by January. Hopefully not though, it would most likely increase the amount of user error. Sorry can't offer more insight.
mufti23
I think so, too. Root-stuff is not mod-management and should be handled differently. But Vortex could have some kind of module out of the box that handles it, I don't know. Anyway, thanks for the reply!
