TemnotatheKhajiit
So lately the newest update for Fallout 4 naturally boned my mods. I updated to the latest version of f4se, and updated all my mods that depend on it, but when I try to run the f4se_loader it crashes after a black screen. I've tried reinstalling both the base game and f4se, but still no luck. I also tried running in windowed instead of fullscreen but no change there either. It runs just fine without f4se, but a lot of my mods require it. Can anybody help me with this issue?
cyden
I have a issue with F4SE too.. thought mine is it doesn't even load the game right, it just opens the default launcher.. but oddly if I use NMM to launch F4SE it works properly.. might not help you problem but it's worth a shot.. SirTwist
F4SE isn't working because of the latest update for the game. They are working on it. You can get a roll back of the game's version. To roll back, read the below.https://www.reddit.com/r/f4se/comments/7gjrkq/did_f4se_even_update_at_all/

toothlessgrinn
i use win7. just go to your fo4 folder right click on the main exe and go to previous version and replace it with one of the restore point exe icon. it worked for me. if they truely only updated the exe then just replace it with the old on and f4se should work again! Grant F4SE Firewall Access Solution 1. Update Fallout 4 Script Extender Application Updating is the best option to terminate the errors and bugs in any application. For this app, you should also update it to the latest version and it might then resolve the issue and work back as normal. This app is updated at different intervals to fix the previous issues and bugs in it. Here are some steps to this process: 1. Navigate to the website and open the downloading page. 2. Click on the download button to download this app on your PC. 3. After downloading, extract all the downloaded files on your PC, these files must be f4se_1_10_120.dll, f4se_loader.exe, and f4se_stream_loader.dll to the fallout file C:/program files(x86)/steam/steamapps/common/fallout 4/. 4. Double click on the file f4se_loader.exe to run and install in your PC. After finish installing, your application would be updated.
