Supereor
So I tried using Mod Organizer instead of Nexus Mod Manager for the first time a few days ago, and as soon as I entered the character creation screen, my game CTD'd, so I tried to find the issue, and finding a problem with Ultimate Follower Overhaul that I couldn't fix because my computer kept saying it didn't have the permissions to, or something like that, and then Google Chrome automatically opened up a very suspicious tab that played an alarming sound, and said that my computer had some weird trojan that I had to call some obviously fake number at Microsoft to fix. Since I don't really know where it actually came from, and I didn't reset my computer or anything after it happened and it didn't happen again, I don't want to blame Mod Organizer because it seems to work well for a lot of people, and it seems likely that a problem in my browser would be caused by something that was also open in the browser. Has anyone also gotten this issue on the STEP Project wiki?
HeyYou
I use MO as well, and so far as I know, it doesn't pop up any advertisements....... If chrome did that all by its lonesome, and not from you clicking a link, I would start running some malware scans immediately.
