Fallout 3 lag / slow

Problem with Fallout 3:
Experiencing lag with Fallout 3, though I'm not sure if that's the correct term for it. It feels as if the game is holding back, slowness comes and goes both when moving around and when moving the mouse cursor in the Pipboy. There are virtually no crashes and it never freezes, it's just not running the way it should. I hope I have all the info needed, listed it all below. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance

System info:
- Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit Service Pack 1 (not a laptop)
- CPU: AMD A10-7700K Radeon R&, 10 Compute Cores 4C+6G (integrated video chip on motherboard)
- CPU Speed: 3.40 GHZ (not overclocked)
- System RAM: 8,00 GB (3,44 GB available)
- Native screen resolution: 1680x1050
- Hard drive free space: 831GB (99.7GB used)
- DirectX version: DX9 final release
Game info:
- Game version: Retail Game Of The Year, patched to 1.7 (unofficial patch not used)
- Official DLCs: Yes, all 5 of them
- Game location: C:\Games\Fallout 3\
- Mods/GECK: Not using any mods or the GECK
- Other helper programs: None
Tried so far:
- Changes to FALLOUT3.ini: changed bUseThreadedAI=0 to bUseThreadedAI=1 and added iNumHWThreads=2
- Additions to Fallout 3 folder: missing xLive.dll file and a d3d9.dll file
- Applied LAA/4GB Patch
- Running game under compatability mode, both Fallout3.exe and the laucher (XP Service Pack 3)
- Running game as "Administrator"
- Turning off UAC

Actually it's 256mb minimum / 512mb recomended (dedicated)

2gb system ram.

So if you don't have that dedicated ram for the GPU ... it could be having some issue's.

Maybe there is a setting you can adjust to dedicate a minimum amount , instead of it being dynamic ?

Add edit : and if you don't have onboard Vram (dedicated) Then would consider you need twice as much ... so 2gb like pixlehate said .

By the way I run it with 1gb dedicated myself. But I don't go in for those high texture packs .

set the desktop display settings to that of the games launchers maximum settings that it finds available.

and start a new game.

do not try to run a saved game file because the internal settings of It will not match the new settings.

the game's internal archiving mechanism will save settings from a previous game of the whole computer Graphics setup and will not match if you start another game with different settings.

but the computer has the ability to change selections where a console does not.

this is by Design.

sluggishness determines where the game is actually installed at.

chances are your issue is a simple one.

if the game is installed in its natural default location then it is your operating system that is causing your problems.

the game must be installed by hand manually to an outside source of the default location which eliminates the operating systems constant parsing issues while the program is running.

activate launcher on the resolution tab click the down open Arrow whatever is not great out can be used.

Once selected launch the game.

I think in here once in awhile.

I currently own an Android television set 102 in display so everything that's on the set matches gaming systems.

Android TVs are available only at Best Buy as far as I'm aware and their way way out of anybody's price range these things are expensive.

I have tested these things on several different television sets used as PC monitors and or Bluetooth video graphics input.

I have the money in the wherewithal to do these things as a hobby but I'm not on the PC anymore.

the Nexus website system notified me via email and I simply read it there, if something catches my eye I log in.

at work talking about ancient software it's like trying to discover who built the pyramids in Egypt.

Sony (OLeD) are Series "(77")" Ultra HD 4G Smart TV with HD

Model: x-rated (XBR77A1E)

Is in the bedroom upstairs for my kids.

$12,999.91 on sale.

Normally $17,999.91

My living room is a lot bigger and it's built into the wall.

Came with the house.

Price...4x as much...

But, that's my life.

Kids do not need all of this.

Just cheap led sets will suffice or an old (CRT) unit will do fine.

nyways ... it was nice of you to stop in.

It must be a drain to have to deal with umpteen thousand dollar stuff on a daily basis :turned:

it's all 2 years old and no it's not a Drain.

To me..it's normal.

now the kids that's another story altogether.

all I can say to this is life is short and do what you can to make life nice.

teach those that are less fortunate than we are to persevere and be fruitful.

cheats to proper values so they know the difference between right and wrong.

leave a bit of yourself in them so that you actually recognize it.

regardless of financial stability try to do your best to provide only the best for them

so they will want for nothing in are not spoiled.

most people are not as well off as I am but I Earn every penny.

if you want something you must earn it nobody's going to hand it to you on a silver platter.

the rewards of learning something on your own in this case their own come from obedience.

the bottom line is all the toys are there for those that truly want them but they're not given to them.

these things must be earned.

the world I live in I have made a place for myself and because I I am the one whom done it,

My Rewards are tenfold this is the way of the world for me and mine that is.

you teach your kids respect Of others so they gain the respect they need to accelerate in life and gaining respect their require to increase their income this is the only way they can have all the toys they want.

I believe I've stated this before there is value in people upon which their value is shown two others as they go along.

the spins the respective others what can equal opportunity to open up to them so they can afford to buy these toys or did ahead in the world but nothing and I mean nothing it's expected to be handed to them on a silver platter.

that's the Sterling value that must be taught to everyone you encounter.

nothing is free.
