Beta Patch 1.5 issue

Hi guys,

I notice that with beta patch 1.5 for skyrim there is an huge issue relating the smithing perk.

That's not an issue indeed but I don't find any other therms that suit correctly for my problem.

In the change log Bethesda told that the value multiplier in smithing perk for having forging, sharpening or upgrading were modified, well, I'd say that they have modified those value too much for my tastes.

Begun a new adventure ad arrived to Riverwood, I help a bit at the forge Alvor, and having forge a single dagger plus an helmet and upgrade both of them my smithing perk reach ed too much high value, from 15 to 69!!

They might fix this issue right away...

Best Regards

If this is happening to you while using the 1.5 Beta patch then you should go on Steam and report it to the developers so that they can make the necessary changes. That's what the Beta is for, weeding out these problems.

How can I report the issue to developers?

I took a look at Steam but apparently there's no way to get in touch with developers...

Ah, well, you've got me there. I've been avoiding Steam by playing offline for many weeks now to avoid their enforced updates. Are you sure that you are signed up as a beta tester? If you are not then there's no need to worry about that patch. But if you are enrolled as a beta tester then there has to be a way to give feedback to the developers. You can also opt out of the testing and go back to your old version if you are experiencing insurmountable difficulties with the patch. Once again I don't know how as I've never been a beta tester for Steam.

Actually I'm not beta tester, simply when Bethesda releases a new patch or a patch that is almost complete they will release as beta version, and everyone can test it out, to see how it works, and Bethesda see the all the factors and the compatibility (they experienced a lot of issue in the most various version of any pc gamers so that's why they made the beta patch first and if all goes well they release the official and optimized one).

There is somehow a kind of beta participation in Steam, and everyone can experience the progresses made by Bethesda, but doesn't mean that make you a beta tester.

By the way I'll wait a bit more and see if there are any upgrades or progresses with the patch.

Anyone of you using the beta 1.5 experienced a similar issue like the mine?

Best Regards
