Kiki981
In my case is, that I can run Old Skyrim normally. But SE has to high system requirements for my laptop to run it. So I think a lot of people have the same problem. So why to buy new PC just to play Skyrim SE? For all other games that I play my laptop is strong enough. So I'm quite satisfied with Old Skyrim. Abd it plays good on my laptop even with around 250 mods installed. So Oldrim for me.

TeofaTsavo
Not all of us enjoy having our mods broken every update for "horse armor". O, necromancy. :( Edited November 23, 2019 by TeofaTsavo
Moksha8088
It is good to have the previous version mod installed if you need to roll back from a Creation Club misstep in SSE. Three reasons to not use the Stable Edition: 1. Your computer is a potato.2. You missed the free switch-over and already owned the CTD Edition.3. You are under the influence of Sheogorath or some other Daedric Entity.

I simply have no time or interest in forced version updates for common LCD Creation Club content I never wanted. It is the only reason I need, and I am not under the influence of anything, OK? IfItsOnPCItsNotExclusive
The best mods(skimpy armors and whatnot) have never and will likely never be ported. And what little mod support there is for special edition kinda sucks. Not to mention you don't need to hear all the crying about "creation club bad". When gamers had the chance to push back against it no one opened their mouth. But when EA or some other company does wrong they get backlash. STOP GIVING BETHESDA A FREE PASS JUST BECAUSE YOU LIKE THEIR GAMES. STOP DAMAGE CONTROLLING. HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE.
RockenJenAnn
I used to have a lot of reasons. Now i am just waiting for the Script Extender to be complete. Once I can use all the combat animations and the 1,577 animations i have loaded into FNIS with Skyrim Special Editin, you better believe I will play it more, and just throw away Oldrim, but modders are like turtles. They win, but most of the cheering audience has fallen asleep or gone home by the time they cross the finish line.
