evrymetul
For the past few days, I've been having trouble with archive invalidation. Nothing works. I've tried using FOMM and all the other mods available for this thing. I have wasted hours of my life just to find a solution that can make this work, but to no avail. Can someone please post a solution to this, because I really want to use the mods I downloaded without seeing an annoying red exclamation mark. Fonger
if archive invalidation is not causing this you didn't install meshes that go with the mod
evrymetul
if archive invalidation is not causing this you didn't install meshes that go with the mod I installed WMX, and I made sure I got everything.
evrymetul
I just don't get it, the mod works for everyone else. I put everything in my data file, I turned archive invalidation off and on in the fomm, I edited the corresponding files in my NV folder in my games and steam folder, and downloaded multiple archive invalidated invalidated mods. I don't see what I did wrong.
cormell
Ya, same problem. I'm trying to wade through the advice on Archive Invalidation. Can do it in NMM (FOMM) of use the Archive Invalidation tool. OK, no problem. But from Dimon Type 3 body still have the black painties and sometimes displaced (double) breast. I have installed Dimon Type3Body v3.5 and an armor mod based on Type 3. Dimon says to modify the .ini as follows: [Archive] SInvalidationFile= iRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1 iRetainFilenameStringTable=1 iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1 bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0 bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 bUseArchives=1 SArchiveList=Fallout - AI!.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa, Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa I have done that and have activated ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! One thing I noted is that the "dummy" .bsa file created by ArchiveInvalidation Invalidated! is called Falllout - AI!.bsa only contains the letter "a". Nothing else. I don't know, doesn't seem right, but just a dummy I guess. Anyway still have the black/panty breat issue. Also toggled AI on and off in NMM - no difference. So don't know what to do . Maybe missed something? I'd like to add some of the Type 3 based mods. But until I've got it working, I am afraid to do that. (Got burned too many times in Skyrim with bad mods.) For example, I'm interested in Beware of Girl. But, BlackBlossom - Beware of Girl - says to modify the .ini files this way: [Archive] SInvalidationFile= iRetainFilenameOffsetTable=1 iRetainFilenameStringTable=1 iRetainDirectoryStringTable=1 bCheckRuntimeCollisions=0 bInvalidateOlderFiles=1 bUseArchives=1 SArchiveList=Fallout - Voices1.bsa, Fallout - Sound.bsa, Fallout - Misc.bsa, ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa, Fallout - Textures.bsa, Fallout - Textures2.bsa, Fallout - Meshes.bsa This disagrees with Dimon. The last line is different. So I don't know what to do. Maybe BOG makes the ArchiveInvalidationInvalidated!.bsa file on install. At the moment I do not have that file. Thanks for the infor k4tonic, but I still don't know what the problem is.
