SCTYA
I booted up SSE for the first time and was hunting down the mods I wanted. Some of the mods downloaded fine, but a large chunk had the above error. I have not plugged in anything yet. I can provide a list of mods that didn't if anyone wants but I don't think that's necessarily relevant to the issue. I'm not sure what else you guys might need. SCTYA
Hello all! Wanted to give an update. I took the issue to reddit and seemed to get an answer which involved giving NMM admin rights. The mods from before then downloaded fine. However a few mods later did it again. My theory after some trial and error is this: I noticed that mods under the SSE category on the site will say that I have downloaded them already even if it was for regular Skyrim not SSE. In the folder for SSE in the NMM file will also have files from regular Skyrim. I believe that if the old file is already in the cache folder, then an error occurs. Deleting these old files then downloading the new file again works. Some new files will download even if a old one is in there if the new file has a slightly different name. My issue is resolved, but I wanted to give you all a heads up for these issues with the site and manager, and to let you all know I already submitted a ticket to Git. Thank you!
