pleasenoname
I'm installing Oblivion on a SSD now and moving all the mod files and such over to the data folder manually. I noticed that the DLCList.txt that I am moving over has 188 bytes, while the New install DLCList.txt has 150 bytes. Why is this? Shouldn't they be the same? Nephenee13
Well, did you open them up to see whats in them?
Striker879
When looking at file sizes using Windows Explorer you also need to be sure you're looking at the actual file size and not the space used on the disk. Your SSD will be different than your HHD for space used. When I'm comparing file sizes I always right click and select properties rather than relying on the figure reported in the size column (only relevant if you have 'Details' as your view selection for Explorer). pleasenoname
I checked in the file and it was just the same DLC relisting, maybe because I reinstalled on the old drive once to make sure that no mod copied over any files, before I knew how BSA's worked. So that is explained.
