IanEG Posted March 19, 2012 Posted March 19, 2012 I have the fTreesMidLODSwitchDis in my ini set to 25000 to prevent branches from popping in on trees. For some reason it always seems to reset itself to 5000 and I have manually reset again. Is there any reason for this and is there a fix? Any help would be appreciated.
PopReference Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 The Skyrim launcher's option menu will change most settings to their default even if you change just 1 thing, if you changed your display settings this could be the problem?
Rennn Posted March 20, 2012 Posted March 20, 2012 (edited) Just avoid going into the Options section of the launcher, or you'll have to change your ini every time. The same goes for shadow tweaks, and any default value that you change in the ini. Keep a backup of your ini as well, since if it gets messed up and you have custom settings it can be hard to remember what they were. Edited March 20, 2012 by Rennn
