  1. Questions to narrow down problems: Are you useing any ENB or modified d3d9.dll file? What other mods do you use? ENBs would give me this problem and their are many BIG mods now. Other problems could be save game bloat, other programs running, or hardware limitations.
  2. Are their specifice objects that you find pop in, or do youn mean just in general?
  3. When an object shows up with a pink/purple colour it means the textures aren't loading. Same for black on bodies. It could be you've run out of Video Memory and can't load any more textures, or those texture files are saved improperly. *edit* I agree with Tok84
  4. You don't need that mod. "No more block faces" just changes the face normal map textures to give fix Skyrim's Original low quality texures. "Geonox Male Faces" and "Coverwomen" do the same thing.
  5. I'm intersered in a mod like this too, I really didn't like the linear path of the Deadra quests.
  6. Actually this explains a lot: Picture one: Quads http://img6.imagebanana.com/img/z0sk3eub/verts_problem01.jpg Picture two: Tris http://img7.imagebanana.com/img/n7dow45r/verts_problem02.jpg When you export to .nif the Square polygons are split into Triangles but, aren't connected. Fix: Convert the faces before export, easily done in Blender, Mesh > Face > Quad to Tri (ctrl T)
  7. Do not use that, if you want a really good .ini editor use: Ini File Editor by Sir Garnon If you haven't, read through the Nvidia Tweak Guide. Plus their's a few .ini tweaks/guides to be found on the Nexus as well. But what will probably have the biggest impact, appearance/performance, you can change is Ugrids. I would love to know whats do bad about ati dna cfg maker, because i use it all the time and have had no problems with. Limiting, confusing, messy, excessive, missing stuff, adding stuff, unhelpful for tweak exparimention and worst of all: Old. But if you use and like it and your game is stable and looks good, then good for you.
  8. I'm gonna go ahead and give it try to see what happens. However, i admit i'm a little ignorant on what "UGrids" and what ".ini files" are. Could you maybe explain or at least give me a link that explains? Nvidia Tweak Guide. Skip to Advanced tweaks.

  10. Add perk console commands: http://elderscrolls.wikia.com/wiki/Console_Perk_Codes_%28Skyrim%29
  11. In the CK, under Miscelaneous > TextureSet, make a new textureset, this part's vary simple. In the ArmorAdd, the Biped Model sub-window were you select the .nif file for the mesh, under Alternate Texures double-click and select the new textureset you made.
  12. Did you create a Texture set in the CK as well, or did you just point to the textures in .nif scope?
  13. The colour is changed in the .inf. With Nifscope it's easy; just find "BSEffectShaderProperty" in the Window to the left of the mesh image, then in the lower window find "Emissive Color", should be right next to a red highlighted value, right-click > color > choose.
  14. Who ordered the hit? Alduin Think about it. Think about it.
  15. I would have to say the "best and most" complete HD weapons and armour pack is the official HD DLC(w/the fix). There were a few High-Res packs before it released, but they just coundn't be as good considering they were working from such low detail textures. That said there are a few incomplete(stalled/delayed/droped) works out their that are really good: Millenia Weapon Retexture Project - WRP Hvergelmirs Armor Retexture - HSR There's a lot more Retextures that change the looks of weapons and armour then just Higher Quality, but that's really more of a personal choice. Hope this helps.
  16. Copy/Paste - Open up a vanilla .nif find the BSDismemberSkinInstance, right-click > Copy Branch, select you neew .nef, right-click > Paste Branch.
  17. The ENB series doesn't replace any files, you're safe to just delete everything that was added.
  18. .nifs don't reference sound for Skyrim, you'll need to make those changes in the Creation kit. You'll have to make a new sound file then alter the Waterfall to point to it in the CK.
  19. Omegared99 makes some pretty good looking full suits of both light and heavy armours, their really mod mash ups of vanilla and different mods so they look pretty cool and don't break out of the feel of Skyrim.
  20. Sounds aren't added in .nifs but are added in game. You can mod the Sound file itself however, just look up the folder location in the Skyrim - Sounds.bsa.
  21. Sounds like you don't have the right Partion number selected for the BSDismembermentskinSkininstace. It should be set to 32 for Body.
  22. There's a mod for that: Unique Character
  23. I remember seeing a mod that adds Perk Potions to the game. I'll see if I can find it again. found it
