Crashes Constantly

Have reinstalled GOTY for the 3rd time now to try and get these mods to work and im still encountering the same crashes. Doesnt matter where im at or what im doing. If im moving after a few minutes itll crash. Can stand still for an hour without a crash but as soon as i get 100 yards or more its done for. I cant for the life of me figure out what the issue is. Ive used the 4gig patcher, archiveinvalidation invalidated, multicore ini tweak and multiple different patches. Each time reinstalling the game and starting the modding from scratch due to crashing. With just the tweaks mentioned the unofficial patch fwe and eve everything is fine. As soon as i add wmk rh ironsights reanimation reborn and enhanced camera boom crashes. At this point my only hope at playing is to find some way to teleport from location to location. As long as i dont move i wont crash.

 

System Specs:

Win 10

Ryzen 7 1800x

RX 580 8 gig

16 gigs of RAM

 

Mods not displayed in load order are reanimation reborn and foip:wmk+fwe patch. The RH_Ironsights im using is also from the reanimation reborn page

Let me add that ive tried hand sorting, LOOT sorting, BOSS sorting and BOSS/hand sorting with absolutely no change.Load order actually doesnt seem to make a difference when it comes to my crashes. No matter what the order is i can only run for so long before i get a crash. No startup crashes at all.

What mod files are you using that do not show in the load order?

 

Where is the game installed?

 

Is there a reason you are not using the original RH_Ironsights?

 

Did you edit the correct .ini file? The one in "Documents", not the one in the Fallout3 folder?

I think the Blackened patch must go after the Merged Patch. Have you tried NVAC? It totally works

I have not tried NVAC. Ill look into it.

Reanimation Reborn for Enhanced Camera seems to be the only one not appearing besides the FOIP:WMK-FWE patch that just replaces the WMK esps. Also Darnified FWE support. EDIT: It appears enhanced camera doesnt have an esp or esm so it doesnt show as well.

 

Game is installed to G/steam/steamapps/common/fallout3goty

 

Reanimation Reborn requires the RH_Ironsights found on its page. It doesnt say the original is needed and i checked the sizes to find the reanimation reborn version is larger than the original. I do believe its just the Paradox full merged version with tweaks.

 

The 4 gig patcher i got came with an ini to place in the fallout directory and one to place in the documents section. Ive tried with the INI files it comes with and without and the results are the same. My first time installing i used just the 4 gig patcher and manually changed the ini in the documents section for multicore. Evreytime its the same results.

 

I will note that with as much time as my game gives me to test the mods ive been able to determine that FWE is installed and working, RH_Ironsights is working, Enhanced Camera is working, EVE is working and Fallout reality. Also the 2 animation mods Reanimation Reborn and Food and Drink animations are working. The only thing that i cant tell if its working is WMK.

You have a few mods that require FOSE to operate properly, yet you do not mention having it installed. You also need to launch the game using FOSE.

 

Which 4GB patcher are you using? Can you provide a link?

 

If the FOIP patch is installed, it should show in the load order. However, it is not necessary since you have the FWE patches from WMK installed.

Sorry thats my mistake. I do have Fose installed and it is working. After starting ive made sure to check fose version and all is good there.

The FOIP Patch i got just came with WMK esps to replace the originals.Thats why it doesnt appear as a mod and WMK shows to have the correct patches installed.

 

I did take the other posters advice and threw NVAC in. It didnt help the crashing at all but it did provide me a log i cant quit understand. Would like to link it here but it keeps telling me im not permitted.

i don't know, except for EVE, Enhanced Camera and Project Reality i have the very same mods in your load order (and tons more) running on old laptop and the game crashed a dozen of times in a 1000 hours run. My two cents: when you installed one of the mod something went wrong. Try uninstalling one by one and see what mod cause the crash

Go to the  mod page that you have linked above.  Scroll down the page and read "One last note (text in yellow)".

I did miss that little bit. Although I didn't think anything about that as with just the unofficial patch fwe and eve I don't get the crashes. I'll give it all a try without the unofficial patch and see if that's my problem.
