Geck - Conditions not showing on Perk Form

I'm having a little trouble understanding what you mean, unless you just mean the Windows 10 bug.

Do you mean it looks like this:

https://prnt.sc/hqexd8

even after you've done a bunch of stuff that should look like this:

https://prnt.sc/hqexi9

This happened in Windows 8 but it was an update that can be removed. In Windows 10 however, it was carried over directly into the OS and can't be removed, at least as far as current conventional wisdom is concerned. Fortunately, annoying as it is, all that's really happening is that the columns are squished against the left side.

Click in that condition box area (just to make sure it's focused on it) and press Ctrl and the + sign on the number pad. Should unsquish everything.

If you ever want to make or edit dialogue, using the Obsidian Conversation Editor will circumvent this bug and otherwise improve your quality of life.

That is exactly what I mean. You nailed the problem (which I don't have screen shots for, because I only had the after). But the solution didn't work.

I did discover that rebooting and reloading the CK did make the conditions show up for a while. But alas, that was shot lived. Four reboots later, I have made the perk the way I want. I think. Onto testing.

It didn't work? Is it possible I didn't explain it right? It always works, at least as far as I've seen on-line. The only thing I can say is that it won't work if there's no conditions there yet; you have to add at least one or it won't display any columns. And last, you can still manually drag them to the right even though that's really tedious.

Edit: You didn't maybe not have your number pad turned on, did you? And you did catch that it does have to be the number pad I hope. The one above your brackets doesn't work for this.

Of course not, go right ahead. In fact, I was hoping you'd come by, as I was looking through your guide to link PoorlyAged to it, assuming it would be there, but I didn't see it in there. Glad to know I'm not as blind as I feared, and glad it's being added now. We Windows 10 users got a pretty raw deal where this game is concerned. I frequently consider reïnstalling Linux just for this game.

Thanks for the permission. That particular solution is in the "Troubleshooting" guide.

Sorry, you lost me there. "PoorlyAged"?

Anyone should feel free to PM me if they think of something that is missing or will help the "Getting Started" or "Troubleshooting" guides if they don't think it belongs in the forums.

Yeah, Mktavish, I would have been pretty miserable at this point without that trick, so I feel bad for people that don't know about it.

I see it, Dubious. I didn't look in that guide as I assumed by the title that it was about mod conflicts. I think that section would be fairly useful in the Getting started creating mods using GECK guide or some of the other GECK guides that I'd been looking through (but I don't think you maintain the others).

PoorlyAged is the person that started this thread.

I would have messaged you eventually but I kind of knew you'd turn up presently.

Re: PoorlyAged. Apologies. I don't tend to notice who the "original poster" (OP) was once the discussion gets going unless it's to direct a response. Most of the time they are just referred to as "the OP" otherwise.

Re: The GECK issues. Not to hijack this thread, but that is a good point, and I think I have a solution for those two articles at least.
