Crash when being near sky haven temple...

same problem. no Dovhakinn and running nvidia.

i was able to get there the first time i walked up there. now i cannot get there at all. :( im sad

 

e/ i had put what i was running but that doesnt matter. same if im running nothing

I've been having the same problem, but got no replies to my own thread :(

 

I seem to hit this "invisible wall" all around Karthspire/ Sky Haven Temple. Tried disabling mods, running from different directions, everything and nothing works. Just did a clean install to make sure of no misc. sripts from disabled mods in my saves, and still no luck. Any help would be greatly appreciated! I've yet to ever finish the main quest due to this :(

Now I've solved this problem finally, If you guys have this problem, and don't know what to do next, but still looking for the solution.... [i'm not sure now,if it's the solution,]

 

all you need to do is uninstall the game and re-install it but don't you install any patch or mod you have, then try to go around Karthspire area.

 

I use this method and it's work, now the problem is you can't load any save that you save after installing those patches, then I install all of my mod that I used to play it before,

 

and after I install those patches all those things happen again... so there must be something wrong about updating things, there must be some mod that doesn't compatible with the patch?? I'm not sure

 

so that's it... that's all I know for now....

So this is the conclusion

 

You can re-install the game and update it to version 1.6, but be careful if you want to install the mod, there must be a mod that doesn't go well with Update.esm

my suggestion is ''make a clean Karthspire save for testing the mods you installed''

PS. I'm not a modder or some kind of professional gamer, It's just trial and error of me, but seriously I hope this help.

Open console and type this:

setstage MQ203 200

coc SkyhavenTemple

 

after you go through the cutscene stuff you have to warp out of that place to another location. coc. and the coc back in there when you want to re-enter.

This may be a cure but not a solution, in fact accidents continue and considering that the limit goes up to the main road so many times that you spend with them will also CTD, at least for me it is so.
