mdmasters
I have been playng Skyrim since it came out. I only play in 3d Vision - the visuals are extraordinary. I have an nVidia GTX580 and an acer 27" monitor. I play with all graphics setting maxed. There are some minor issues with the sky and some water reflections rendering incorrectly in 3D, but for the most part these things don't negatively impact the game. This evening I started Skyrim, and Steam automatically downloaded a patch. When the game started I was dismayed to see that shadows are now rendered incorrectly with 3D Vision such that the 3D effect is ruined. I don't want to turn off the beautiful shadows and reduce the visuals, and I surely don't want to go back to 2D. (That would be like a person that plays in 2D going back to a black and white screen and 640x480 resolution!) This means that I can't play until this issue is corrected. Help. How can I back out this patch or fix this problem? Thanks. Rabbit1251
You might check with Steam. I think that there's a roll back patch available somewhere on site. I can't tell you where as I've been off of Steam for some time in order to avoid their patches. Rabbit
