goatz
Hi,At in certain ares on the rivers, one just north of Riverwood, for about 300 ft., the water disappears. You can see the line where it stops, and then continues again. This happened after I installed WATER - Water And Terrain Enhancement Redux. I had the old version of that one and Kerplunk's wet rocks on before. Disabled those, installed this new version..no water. So I disabled all my mods with NMM and it still occurs. Any ideas? Thanks Look at the first SS and the fish circled. Where's the water? This doesn't seem to occur on strong rolling falls only where the water slowly rolls from a higher elevation to a slightly settled section of water. Brandy1123
Its a product of a radeon environment. The graphics do not get rendered properly all the time. save your game then reload it. The water should be there. I found that clearing my cache and temp files from my PC often takes care of this problem. Radeon does not actively support Skyrim as many of us Radeon users will tell you. Even if we tell you while using the very LAST Radeon card we will ever own.

Rennn
Eh, question:How do you clear those temporary files and that cache safely? I'm having similar issues, though I don't own a Radeon, they may still be connected.
goatz
I assumed clearing your system temp cache was implied, which is what I did. XP = Location: C:\Documents and Settings\(user name)\Local Settings\Temp or 1. Click on Start and then Run. In the text box in the Run window, type %Temp% and click OK. A folder full of your temp files and other folders will appear that are all safe to delete. Vista/7 = Location: C:\Users\(user name)\AppData\Local\Temp or 1. Click on Start, type the following command in the search box: %temp% and then hit the Enter key to show your temp files. WyvernADR
Good evening, I have more or less the same problem, but I didn't installed any mod altering the water never before. Here's a picture I am in Whiterun where in the place I am there should be and I'm supposed to swim inside instead I just walk through and see the fishes fly... Any tips for that, or maybe it's just the same matter of cleaning the cache? Best Regards
goatz
Hmm.. you could try that, it was my fix. Although I imagine like Brandy_123 said, it seems to be an issue of a Radeon environment. Do you have a a Radeon gpu chipset? Maybe try updating your card's drivers if deleting your temp files doesn't' work. But again Radeon doesn't actively support Skyrim so I'm just guessing. Rennn
So just to be clear, I can delete everything in my temp folder? I'd hate to have my computer shut down and never start up again.
goatz
Absolutely. I do it all the time. Just be careful in deleting temp files that are made twenty four hours earlier because some of these newly made temp files are used by programs such as your antivirus and web browsers. For this option, use CCleaner and regularly delete temp files weekly.
