Help on Trying To Update Solitude Docks District

I've used SDD since it came out years ago. I knew the mod had a few design issues (like the deleted navmeshes which I fixed via CK). But even after fixing this, I continued having unreliable CTD whenever I tried using NPCs and shops. And sometimes that hidden entrance from the docks that exit inside Solitude beside Proudspire.

If these NPC/vendor shops weren't used (ie just using the mod for added immersion) the mod was reasonably stable. But using services like the Cosair's inn and sometimes weapons merchant created CTD/freeze issues. That would lead to save game instability and making any saves made inside NPC shops un-loadable. I didn't realize a potential root cause that globally impacted this mod design until seeing what MannyGT posted a while back in this (now defunct) mod forum:

Hello.
I discovered a serious series of bugs.
All your interior cells have wrong Location set and Ownership. All of them refers to vanilla ones.

Example: Cell CorsairsInn have the Location of Dead Man's Drink inn in Falkreath; The Ownership is set to GuardFactionSolitude. Locklist is set to GuardSolitudeImperialDay;

This is not good because it can mess with NPCs behavior. I posted here because I didn't see any bugs report section.

Regards.

So if ALL the interior SDD cells in the dock area were designed like this, then this might be the root cause behind my save game instability for saves made inside places like the inn, NPC homes/other interior cells once you teleport inside from the dock district area? If this is the case, then would this be a way to fix this?

1. load up CK with Skyriml.esm & Update.esm as masters

2. go to an interior cell e.g. the Corsairs Inn. Change the location from Falkenwreath to Solitude.

3. Change the location of the Cosairs Inn to Solitude Innkeeper faction. If changing the faction doesn't update the vendor's shop operational hours, then adjust/tweak wherever necessary to match Solitude Inn.

4. Rinse and repeat for all other wrongly labeled interiors.

Someone also mentioned the mod created a seam underneath Solitude in the vicinity of the Solitude arch near the marketplace. ShadowofNV posted this:

It turns out this mod creates a seam inside Solitde under the arch by the market district.

The ids are FormID 0008E2E1, and 00037EF1, anyone know how to fix this seam?

Is there a tutorial on how to fix seams somewhere? Sadly, Arthmoor no longer has that iguana.net blog of his on the web. I checked the CK tutorial but nothing explicit on addressing this.

If these form ids are the root cause, then it would explain the unpredictable game instability I'd sometimes get when trying to enter Solitude from the vanilla back door entrance under the arch. Or from sometimes leaving the market area and crossing it by heading toward the Blue Place.

Any help would be much appreciated. Particularly if someone has posted an invaluable blog the likes of Arthmoor's iguana.net. This was apparently taken down a while back. Regardless, the SDD mod needs to be updated because one of it's masters is the Update.esm. The last ver 1.8 of the mod doesn't appear to have the latest official game update.
