Overclocking problem

Hey guys, I've just finished my overclocking, I'm stable and happy (it was done with research & reasonable testing, through AMD Overdrive Auto clock)

Skyrim is not happy with it. The game speeds up by approx 4x.

The newest Enb binaries report fps int the thousands, I know it's bugged, I'm using -Elys- Meminfo instead (/skyrim/mods/2006) instead

Pressing Ctrl+printscreen seems to eliminate it.. Menus still act strange and I don't believe this solution to be adequate.

I've tried many things, in many different combinations

One tweak both on and off, ini settings played with.

Windows Aero is back on, I read it disables V-sync somehow, I don't know the validity of that.

Tried forcing V-sync in Radeon settings, tried every setting regarding V-sync.

Limiting fps through enb & Radeon (separately)

Resetting inis. to default.

V-sync has not worked for me at all during this session of modding, I reinstalled Windows 7 when upgrading my hardware

Skyrim is on a dedicated SSD

The only thing that stops it from happening is rolling back my OC.

I'd prefer it if I didn't have to do that, I cannot figure this out.

Any ideas?

Here's my Enblocal:

try forcing fps limiter through Msi Afterburner, this will override all other limiters, and is pretty much fool proof. ENB limiter and Nvidia/Radeon fps limiters do not work all the time, Msi Afterburner however does (it is a global limiter)

to do this you will obviously need Msi Afterburner and Rivatuner (which is part of Msi Afterburner, its the statistics server that allows you to see gpu usage, memory usage and tempertures in game (overlay) it can also take high quality screenshots and record video, but that is besides the point)

open Rivatuner (indicated as a blue monitor symbol with 60 in side the icon, in your task bar)

and then simply type in 60 in the Framerate Limiter Box and then Press Enter on your Keyboard to set it to 60, this will then force all tasks to run at 60fps (specifically games or anything that has a framerate) and never over.

skyrim and fallout for that matter cannot do framerates over 60 fps at all. without causing anomalies such as sped up game, and potential freezing and other issues.

ensure that the Application Detection Level, is at least set to Low (it is for Statistics, however it may effect framerate limiting as well, regardless i tend to have it set to low anyway for good measure)

if it fails for some reason, Turn ON the Custom Direct3d Support, this will allow Rivatuner to Work with the ENB, as it will hook into the same d3d9.dll file that ENB hook into, however only turn it on if having it off, prevents framerate limiting, as having it on can cause issues with the ENB

Hey dude!

I did try msi & rivatuner, I could never get it to do as I wished. I had crashes before Skyrim started, I think it was something to do with hooking d3d9 or something.

I ended up going down to from 4700MHz to 4400MHz and it stopped but I'll try again following your advice.

Thanks!!
