100 Percent GPU Usage?

Currently whenever I install an ENB the GPU usage spikes to 100 percent MAX. I have reinstalled the game multiple times and nothing seems to fix it. I have tried six different ENB’s to no avail. It will sputter from 11 to 45 to 100 percent usage.

Things I have tried to fix it:

The FNV 4GB Patcher

SSD install

Setting Radeon Settings to use application settings

HDD install

ANTI Crash

Disabling MSI Afterburner

Etc…

Running ENB completely by itself with no other mods or textures

My current system specs are an I7 with 16gb of ram and a RX 580 crimson edition with 8GB of DDR5 VRAM. The game runs perfect with custom 4K textures and modifications and only uses like 5-11 percent of my GPU. But when running an ENB the game stutters and frequently locks the GPU to 100 percent. I have tried running the ENB all by itself and it still has issues. What am I doing wrong??

Thanks for any help ð

Guessing this is a combination of your version of the OS (Win10 with FCU?) and ENB support on that OS. Last I knew, the author of ENB did not have and had no intention of moving to Win10, so it isn't really supported on that system. However, anyone with experience of that combination would be on their performance forum.

Recall that this is a 32-bit game designed for Windows Vista as the "newest" OS, with XBox compatibility as a priority. Everything about your setup is more advanced than the game was designed to deal with. Better hardware cannot overcome game design limitations.

What information we can provide is found under the 'Solutions to Post-Processor (ENB/SweetFX et. al.) problems' section in the wiki "Fallout NV Mod Conflict Troubleshooting" guide.

Yes I am currently on Windows 10 with the latest updates :(

I was not aware of ENB not supporting Windows 10 so that is good to know. I have looked at that guide previously and ended up giving up in frustration. I guess for now I will just stick with the Textures and NVAC and just forget ENB for the time being.

Thanks for the help,
