MrManovar6
It's been literally years since the last time I made an update on F4SE, and so I forgot a lot about how to manage this, so sorry in advance if this is a question with an annoyingly obvious answer. I start Fallout 4 Script Extender to play the game, but instead I get a message that says as follows:"You are using a newer version of Fallout than this version of F4SE supports. If this version just came out, please be paitent while we update our code.In the meantime, please check http://f4se.silverlock.org for updates. Runtime: 1.10.50F4SE: 0.6.1" So, what do I do. Should just wait for an update? Do I have to update an older version? If so, where from? (need link if yes)
NikitaDarkstar
0.6.4 is the latest F4SE version. You can download it from the website you already linked to as that is Script Extenders official link. Just Click the link "7z archive" to download it, read the readme that's packed into it and follow the installation instructions in there (as in only copy the files you actually need. The archive does come with a few more things packed in with it but unless you're a mod author yourself you don't actually need those files). I though this required more work, like update the current version I have and THAN download a new one, but the game seems to work now, and that's enough. Much obliged. And merry late Christmas

"Steam/common/" , etc<if anything is still win winrar you have done something wrong continue till otherwise drag and distribute and the read me is literal as well if one does not know what you need to update on windows continue to read and do exactly what you are told down the rabbit hole one note after another follow every step to the key google the words you don't know and eventually put together a decent setup >four dragon >shaders >Doom >Etc.
