Lisnpuppy
just wondering which Game you prefer? Or if you prefere the real deal:p i prefer real....as I play drums (badly) and it is easier in real life than on the game...though it is probably the closest to the real on drums. I like Rock Band better,...dont know why....me and my 10 year old ROCK OUT to BonJovi weekly! ha ha
Gamerbird
Never played rock band so I can't say that.Tried to play the actual guitar and failed miserably, so I would have to Guitar Hero.I can only play guitar hero on easy though. So basically I suck at them all.I Would have to say though I prefer Guitar Hero.
thekid345
Real guitar. Guitar Hero is for retards who are musically impaired(no offense)
doomjockey
If you're referring to people who play the game then feign musical skill, then yes, that's pretty foolish. Personally, I enjoyed Guitar Hero, but it's too easy as I've been playing the real thing for years now. I haven't touched Rock Band; that seems to be taking the concept too far when you can just form a real band with your friends/girlfriends/drunks. macmert
Rock band is quite the same as the guitar hero since you have to mash buttons to play, but rock band is somehow different since you can play as a "band" like you can plug in drum kits and such and be the drummer and stuff... As a PC user I prefer Frets on Fire since it is quite the same as Guitar Hero, and you can compose your own songs... IMO I really prefer the real deal since I play like for 15 years or so :D and I tried to play Iron Maiden's trooper on Frets on Fire once and belive me playing it on electric guitar is way more easier, and I once saw on Youtube that Dave Mustaine couldnt play Hangar 18 on Guitar Hero :D
TheTerminator2004
yeah, Frets on fire is better than guitar hero, because its pretty much the same gameplay, its totally free, you can make your own songs, and you can get all the guitar hero songs for it (if you have the game). I've never tried Rock Band or real guitar, so I cant comment on either.
