Tulsa299
So I read by way of " sResourceArchiveList=Skyrim - Invalidation.bsa, Skyrim - Misc.bsa, " ect.Skyrim reads bsa's first, then looks at esp file & then loose files? And this process is done via the CPU.Is that correct? If I wanted skyrim to read loose files instead and not take the time to look through BSA would removing those lines accomplish that and would there be any adverse effects?Or would simply having the loose file loading, like a mod, in MO be enough to achieve my desired result? My want is to squeeze every bit of performance out as possible.I like pushing things to their absolute, it's more fun than the gaming itself.Thoughts and thanks? Novem99
You can stop wasting your time with these kinds of experiments. You won't gain any performance boost with that. There have been extensive tests by other members here and the loading times of .bsa archives compared to loose files are insignificant.
