Skyrim CTD when i try to equip a modded armor

Hey guys,

i got a problem with a mod.

The mod is called: Hikaris heavy armorpack and Angel Armor 1.03

 

I got them a long time ago, before the mod author thinks he need to get 350$ for his mods before sharing with other...... but thats not the problem.

The problem is, that my Skyrim crashes instantly when i try to equip the Angel Armor or some special Armor from the Pack.
Most of them works fine but the really badass looking Armors wont work :(

 

I already tried to install other skeletons like CBBE, UNP, UNPB, 7B but nothing works..

on screen i can see how the armor is equipped for at least a half second.. but than CTD..

of cause its already sorted by loot and i always use the wyre bash. same for FNIS patch and dual sheath redux patch.

 

 

 

i hope somebody can help me.

if i am using the skyrim unoffical patch my game starts to crash in the main menu - so i didnt install .

It sounds like an animation issue or something else such as a XMPSE not being installed correctly. Does the mod REQUIRE HDT by any chance? I would install Forensic's New Idles and run that program if you added any or changed any animations.

FNIS is already installed.

 

What can i do wrong with XMPSE? its pretty simple to install.

 

But yeah HDT is required but HDT Extensions is installed, too.

It happens when I equip armor from the utility pack mod. No matter what I do it always crash to desk top when I equip any armor from the pack. And I have the right skeleton, bodyslide, hdt extension and heels, so idk why it constantly crashes if I equip this armor or give it to a follower

These mods do not come with skeleton afaik.

Have you tried opening problem armor with NifSkope to see if it can be opened and what skeleton NiNodes it's attached to?

It sounds like there is a problem with the texture in that armor. I would second the idea of viewing it in NifSkope.

Old topic, but found the fix if anyone needs it. Basically, a mod has overwritten your skeleton. Best way to tell (or this has been my experience) is run FNIS and look at bone count at the beginning of the register. If you see "Female (129 bones) Male (129 bones)" , that is the issue. Basically, you have to remove XP32 and SOS (if running both), run FNIS after that, then re-install both and run FNIS again. If bone count is now 115, you should be good. You will probably need to re-install any idle, walk or combat animations as well, just always choose to NOT overwrite your skeleton.
