Jep, compatibility is always giving me a headache. The feet use their own texture, so that's completely independent. Only issue might be that it doesn't look good with the body texture you are using. I plan to do textures that look good with vanilla (currently on it) after that Coverkhajiit and JazzR's Argonians.

As for mesh compatibility I haven't had one complaint yet. I use vanilla bodies as comparison to make the feet but to play personally I use Better Males and Vanilla Females, So it's definately BM compatible and assuming at least some of the users use UNP and CBBE I guess it's compatible aswell. ;)

*texture for the feet (male and female) on it again.

*tweak weight painting, should be fine

Right, I decided it's the normal maps fault that whatever I did the feet never looked like they belonged to the body. So I started over and am no back at the texture.

New normal map at work:

I strayed from the path an revived an old project I stopped working on in february because I couldn't get round some odd glitches. Now, having learned quite a lot, I can. :)

I think I will use it in one of the future versions of GPF...

I'm really jealous of your work! I have a whole collection of broken nifs out of 3ds max that I just can't get to work properly for the life of me, so to see all you have accomplished, I'm really impressed.

Don't let people get you down either. You have to understand that to your common mod downloader mod-makers are like magicians. They see you make the statue of liberty disappear and they say, "oooh! now do the empire state building!" They don't realize all the smoke and mirrors involved and expect you to breeze from one task to the next. If they had even the slightest clue of the labor involved, the limitations of the software, or the fights with significant others one must endure to create a highly compatible, imperceptibly absorbed mod I think they'd keep their mouth shut. And I'm saying that as someone who makes truly bootleg work compared to what you've got here.

Anyway, I'm a long-time beast race fan but not as particular about digitigrade as our more 'furry' companions around, so this was about perfect. I encourage you to find the fun behind this mod again and shut out all the "this should've been that" "now do this" comments and if it's lost its spark set it aside for a while, but don't forget it, because you've done a great thing here!

I must second this notion! I tried to separate the pauldrons, cuirass and greaves of an armour set once, starting with the cuirass... I ended up with a spider. O__o

To the author: In the long run do you plan to make digigrade feet as well, Morrowind-style? I was looking at the Vampire Lord the other day and realised the feet would be perfect for Argonians. Just throwing that idea out there. ;]
