cptnkill Posted March 24, 2012 Posted March 24, 2012 I was looking around the forums yesterday and I found a link to a mod or a program that actually disables the auto update for skyrim. Now i cant find it, I did a search of the forums and the nexus and nothing came up. So I was wondering if anyone knows about this or had the link they could post for me. I haven't played skyrim without turning of my internet since the new patch.

Public consensus is when Steam updates its client, all your settings are reset to default. That typically means all your Steam apps will connect to get themselves the current patches.

My game runs fine and I've just been waiting for a stable update, but haven't seen one yet. I was hoping this latest one would do it, and maybe for me it would have, but after the problems others have reported I think that I'll hold off a little bit longer. Rabbit
