brianlm
I have both Fearsome Roster and Improved Fearsome Roster in my current SOZ playthrough, and they do absolutely nothing. Hostiles on the world map 2 levels below me still come running at me like nobody's biscuits. The description of the feat specifically says that any hostiles on the map 2 or more levels BELOW you run from you. With both Fearsome, and Improved Fearsome Roster feats, it still requires hostiles to be 4 levels below me to flee from my presence. This is disheartening, and I can't find ANYWHERE on the interwebs confirming this bug. There is absolutely no mention of these feats not working, and naturally, can't find any fix overrides. I refuse to believe that this expansion has been out for 3 years and NO ONE has noticed this? Can a fix for this possibly be done?
Tchos
Well, this isn't the answer you were looking for, but I've never used those feats. If your purpose is just to avoid the random encounters on the map, have you tried clicking on your party member with the highest survival or hide skills? If they're the active ones on the world map, and your skills are of a reasonable level, then you should never have to fight when you don't want to. brianlm
I was a little off on my first analysis. It appears monsters flee at 5 EL. So this is telling me that the fist Fearsome Roster rank is indeed working, because enemies flee from me at 4 level difference, but Improved Fearsome Roster does seem to be broke still, because enemies at 3 level difference still engage me. I don't have any trouble with overland map, this is just for immersion/RP purposes really, and as with any bug, takes away from the immersion. My main character is a barbarian with plenty of survial and listen, so it's easy enough to avoid and flee from most things. And I do have a bard/rogue for any stealth play that may be needed.
