"Glad you guys made it safe and sound. I was beginning to worry we'd never get here," Raven said, her voice tinged with fatigue, "Rooms are on me tonight. Smoking or non-smoking? Your choice."

July looked at Raven. She looked tired. Probably all of them did. "Non-smoking." July said and headed inside first but then suddenly she stopped and looked at Amy and Raven. "Do you guys know anyone who works in Salt Lake police or maybe some FBI agent or something?" On their way here she listened to what was going on in the city they left behind. There were lots of conversations about what happened in the antique shop yet nothing about them. And that's why she didn't like it. They should've watched the tapes by now and know what happened but why no one started searching them? Maybe someone stole or destroyed them but who and why?

"Hmm, I don't know anyone like that either," Raven replied as she approached the front desk.

"Three rooms, two non-smoking, one smoking, single beds. Close together if you can manage it. One night."

A few moments later, the receptionist presented three keys: rooms 202, 204, and 210. The woman looked a little shocked when Raven produced a large amount of cash to pay for them, but hunter smiled charmingly and said, "We're vacationing."

The lady nodded, "Have a good stay."

Raven turned and handed the girls their room keys, "All right. Second floor rooms, all on the same hall. Yours," she inclined her head to Amy, "is farther down than ours. But that should be okay."

"Thanks." July said and glanced at the key. "See you all later." She said and walked to her room. She was anxious to sleep in a bed with the actual clean sheets and everything. Once she stepped inside her room, the hunter locked the door and went straight to bed.

July took headphones of her phone from the bag which was lying on the floor beside the bed and turned on the music. She fell asleep while listening to Rock of Ages by Def Leppard.

Raven, too, went to her room - right next door to July's - and crashed. She set her alarm for seven. It would only be three hours of sleep, but she had to maintain some semblance of routine.

July was only able to sleep for about one hour and thirty minutes. She got out of the bed and started looking for a mini-bar which hotels fancy like this one just had to have. She found one but it was locked. "Fantastic!" She mumbled and broke the lock. Inside she found everything that people usually find inside. She was about to take a bottle of what seemed like champagne but something else caught her attention. "Ooooo... peanuts." She said and took a small pack of peanuts and went to bed again.

The alarm went off far too soon.

And way too loudly.

Raven slammed her hand on the clock. Getting out of bed, she made her way drowsily back to her car and dug around the trunk for some clean clothes. Leaving her hat and jacket in the trunk, she returned to her room and took a shower. Washing up helped to wake her, and by the time she had dressed, gotten her things in order, and headed downstairs, she was fairly alert.

She partook of some eggs and toast from the continental breakfast, then poured herself a large cup of coffee and took her seat in the lobby, waiting for the other hunters.

Picking up a local paper, she found a very interesting read. She would have to show it to her new friends.

Everything seemed really quiet in this hotel. She even managed to hear someones alarm clock. "Hmmm... thin walls." She thought. July looked at the clock on her phone. 7AM. She took a quick shower and changed into some cleaner clothes and went to the lobby where she already found Amy and Raven. She wasn't hungry because back in her room, July emptied the entire min-bar. "Good morning." She said and sat at the table. Edited by Naktis
