It's A Supernatural Life

Raven noticed that Amy looked more than a little upset, but July seemed pretty spry.

"Good morning, ladies," she replied, "Got some news today. They've posted a bit about that antique shop, but apparently there's no security footage available. Shame about that," she added with a wink and a grin.

"And," she continued, laying the paper on the table so they could both see the article to which she was referring, "there's something of interest in town. Looks like a local haunting of some sort."

"No footage? It's either the camera is just as antique as most of the stuff in the shop or someone took it... can't be... you know what cause they don't care about things like that." July then looked at the newspaper on the table. She read the article which really had a few signs of ghostly activity. "Sounds like fun. We should definitely check it out."

"We will get your car and your clothes and you will be able to go home." July replied, mimicking the annoyed tone. "Do you know anyone you can trust that could get your car and come here or at least keep it until this will be over?"

Raven smirked at Amy, "Delta's ready when you are, dear. But I've got a sneaking suspicion that curiosity's gonna always get the better of you. Like July said, if you want someone to watch your car or bring it to you, give 'em a call."

She turned to July, "Anyways, I thought that haunting might make for a nice distraction. I know right where that house is...and it's close to where we need to be to get on I-25."

"Right then," Raven said, getting up rather quickly, "Let's head out. Oh, and if you didn't get anything to eat, be sure to grab something before we leave."

She then turned her room key in to the receptionist, who, thankfully, was different than the one who had been there the night before.

7:00 AM

By breaking most of the speed limits, David was making startlingly good time, and was currently about 2 1/2 hours outside of buffalo, if he were able to keep up this pace. Of course, he realized that he'd have to sleep sometime, and as such he exited into Wheatland to get some sleep. "Three and a half hours of sleep, then I'll rest again when I'm at bighorn." Pulling into an abandoned lot, he reclined in his seat and draped his arm over his head. He didn't have the time or financial ability to get a hotel, and his seat was honestly more comfortable than some run-down motel infested with cockroaches.
