"You know about guns?" July asked with the surprised look on her face. She wasn't expecting that. "Thanks for the info. Might buy another one someday but this one does its job and that's enough for me."

 

Adam laughed, no one ever suspected him to blurt out gun facts, and that look on their face was gold "I was 15, you don't think I didn't think about my career did you? I was going to join the army" he said, looking rather proud of himself, then looked at Raven, he thought for a moment "Which car could go fastest?"

"Shotgun? what are you talking about my dear?" Amy said with a smile.

 

"Huh? You don't know? Riding shotgun is riding up front. It comes from the western times because the man in the passenger seat of a caravan would wield a rifle or a shotgun to kill bandits if they tried to raid the caravan. The term calling 'shotgun' is much easier than calling 'rifle' so 'shotgun' stuck"

"Clever boy... i think we will get along just fine. Now i have to tell you... this car goes a lot faster than anything that may have been around in you're time.... so if it gets too fast when i put it into full speed, you may want to shout." Amy said smiling, closing the door and putting on her seatbelt.

Raven grinned at the two, surprised at how well they were getting along. She got into her own old Mustang and turned the crank.

 

As she waited for July and Amy, she revved the engine a few times. They would make it to Bighorn in four hours, but she wondered if they could make it in three....
