BaldurAnthology
Whistler pulled out the box in which the object recorded as the key was. He takes out the Keystone, inserts it into the hole in the door, and twists. With a heavy stone grinding on stone noise, that sent vibrations through the floor, and shivers down spines, rushing water gushes released from sluice gates, and the gigantic stone doors grind open. "Like that." Whistler grins, then grimaces. "I smell sulfur, or Brimstone. Could be a demon. Be on your guard."
Naktis
"I thought that brimstone and sulfur are the same thing." July said as she watched Whistler opening the gates to this odd location. Maybe sulfur that Whistler smelled has nothing to do with demons? This place looks like no one had set foot in here for a really really long time. mythicdawnmaster
Amy drove around town for a while looking for her fellow hunters, she even asked people on the streets if they had seen there cars. Amy found out that there were cars matching the description parked at the national part.... what the hell were they doing there? She parked her Ferrari by the other cars and got out, instinct told her to follow the path to the ruins... She looked around in astonishment at the temple she was in, her high heels echoing with every step, the smell of brimstone strong in the air. BaldurAnthology
"Right, before we go further, I am sure you noted my use of the words Sulfur and Brimstone. Now the two are similar, as they both are sulfur. Brimstone, however is burnt sulfur, usually by a very hot heat. no tellin what could be here, so be careful." Whistler glances at everyone. "There's a good chance that old man Whistler ain't gonna survive this. If I don't. Do not kill her." He indicates Sarah. "And Kill whatever kills me." AurianaValoria1
Raven was glad to see that Amy had decided to join them. They needed all the help they could get. "Right," she said, drawing her revolver, "I don't think it's a good idea for Whistler to go first. I'll take point. The rest of you watch my back...I know a particular demon who'd love to stick a knife in it right now." She carefully entered the gateway, scanning every corner as she picked her way forward. The floor became smooth slabs of granite as she began walking down a narrow corridor.
mythicdawnmaster
Amy walked into the chamber the rest of the hunters were in when Raven said to cover her back. Amy drew her pistol and walked forward "Hey guys."
Naktis
"Glad to have you with us." July said as she noticed Amy. She waited for everyone to go in so she could walk the last. She did not know why but she liked staying in the back. Not because she would be closer to an exit, no. July was not a coward but she learned the hard way that the danger can lurk behind their backs...
Nadin
David drew his sword. "Hey." He moved to the outside of the group, at a distance on the left.
BaldurAnthology
Whistler and Sarah lead the group into the tunnel. Sarah spots torches along the wall and with a slight expenditure of energy, causes a spark in as many as she can find, lighting them and the tunnel. mythicdawnmaster
Amy noticed how hot it was getting in the tunnel, it was a good job she was not wearing a coat. She walked carefully, and lightly, minimising the amount of noise her large heels made as they clicked upon the ground.
