Struckur
FunctionalityCopy:The player sets up four beacon objects in their settlement around any workshop objects/structures they want to copy and initiates the copy sequence, this produces a blueprint (similar to that produced by Transfer Settlements) of all the objects/structures inside the beacon area. Paste:The player sets up four beacons in their settlement around an open area in any settlement and initiates the paste sequence using any installed blueprint to populate the area inside the beacons with the objects originally copied to the blueprint. BenefitsMakes settlement building easier/faster. Lets players keep a consistent feel across their settlements by using a couple of the same structures in each. (turret towers, guard houses, etc...) Can import structures from other players into any of your settlements, not just the one it was originally built in. Can import structures from other players without destroying what you already built. Is something like this possible in the context of the Fallout 4 engine? Edited January 8, 2018 by Struckur
Senocide
I second this. There was a mod called Copypasta that basically allowed you to do this, but it is Xbox exclusive. The other way around is creation kit, where you can make your own prefabs. Be ware tho since structures that normally tok 5 seconds to build will take 5 hours in the creation kit. pra
If Transfer Settlements is possible, then this should be possible as well, I think.
