I plan on getting into actual mod making once the next ES title comes out someday, but for now - I don't plan to ever use the advanced features in TESEdit. I just use the basics and only for seeing what's conflicting with what so that I can possibly decide to manually move a mod down/up the load order, or remove a mod as the case may be. I hear ya, just last night I just couldn't resist installing a couple more armor mods. Said UNP supported, should be alright? Started a new game and a mercenary (guessing part of notice board) ran by and she was naked! Very funny but that little feeling I get is, I gotta fix it. I tried the simple console disable >> enable command and that didn't do anything. I just had to install that armor mod even though I already had the huge immersive armors working just fine.

 

There's the CK (Creation Kit) method I've heard of for fixing faces, but I've never tried it and it looks painful. From various posts, it sounds like it's had mostly successes from others that have done it - maybe an option for you? Good luck!

Hey there. I just installed Bijins All In One and I'm about to give it a try. I've been using Total Character Makeover, UNP body, CDP Physics, and FNIS with various animation mods for it - up till now, with no issues.

 

 

Now that I've read the Bijin AIO installation instructions with fine detail, I thought about your initial mod list. I noticed you had some mods covered up? Regardless, that is NMM's mod list and not your load order. To really see your load order, could you re-send it? In NMM, your list represented in the "Plugins" tab is your actual load order.. On the left pane of the "Plugins" screen, there are two "paper" icons with a left and right arrow. Selecting the right arrow, you can export your load order to clipboard, then paste it into a message here. Per your graphic - Mods listed underneath the Mods tab is just a list of mods that you've installed or uninstalled - or not installed yet (the faded words). In your Mods graphic, I noticed you had at one time, installed Bijins All-In-One SE then at some point, uninstalled it (represented by the red slash circle next to the filename in NMM. Then I see where you (maybe did later?) installed the CBBE customizer for All in One. I look at the CBBE customizer author's page and his page is definittely lacking detailed instructions. My *gut* feeling is you went out of turn somewhere.

The zero after certain mods are mods that I left unticked in NMM per each author's directions. For Bijins All-In-One, the directions were very specific to leave Warmaidens, NPCs, Wives, esps unticked and only leave AIO ticked. As I mentioned earlier, I never tried this AIO cbbe customizer mod since I only use UNP body for every NPC but after looking at the AIO CBBE customizer page, I had big ?? marks on what the install directions should really be because his installation instructions were very general imo.

OK! rrambled on enough, about to fire my game up and see if I see any black faces. (Hopefully not) I'll be using an old save, and will run around/fast travel to a few of the big cities then report back tomorrow on my findings - successful or not.

So I fired up my newly added Bijins load and ran around Whiterun, Riverwood, and Riften and quickly saw the NPCs represented by Wives and NPCs were great - really awesome. But Uthgerd and Delphine had the black face bug so it looks like Bijin Warmaidens is giving me some trouble here! Going to bed in a couple minutes but this will get interesting tomorrow. You might have noticed I already had Total Character Makeover installed, and decided to not remove before installing the Bijin mods. Also, I'll fire up SSEdit and see what is conflicting with All In One Bijins then see if a manual load order change will fix it as a first step to troubleshoot.

What about Lydia? I reloaded everything, and I copied your Load list and I am going to try to see what I can add. If you are having trouble with the same thing if means it's not the all in one, and it's a problem with the Warmaiden mod. Which means I will want to add a replacement for it. here is what I got now. I got rid of the opening overhaul. I did something funky so I will go with Another life. but here you go.

Okay. So I unloaded the warmadiens and they are ugly but not black face. I have unofficially determined that it is the bijin warmadiens mod. I love Ks hair but delphine and Lydia's replacement takes aphacii hair, not sure about the others, but please test a new game by unloading just Bijin warmadiens and see if you get similar results.

Your last post has me thinking about what I saw on Uthgerd especially. Yes, she had the black face but also I *think* her face graphic was the original - as you recall her vanilla face is a bit rough there so that might be a clue. I'm on the road today but good to hear that the black face went away for you by uninstalling warmaidens. I'm probably going to take different steps before-hand - thinking of looking at and adjusting load order first, followed by uninstalling and reinstalling warmaidens while keeping All In One installed, followed by manual copying of warmaiden files to overwrite whatever's there for each lady npc represented by the mod, ending it with doing the Creation Kit fix facegen method (which I did once on oldrim and it also worked). If at that point I still can't get it to work, I think I will uninstall All In One and the individual Bijin mods, just do separate re-installs of Wives and NPCs (without All in One), then look for individual replacers for the warmaidens cast.

 

Will check in tonight with the results.
