Zephyr2011 Posted March 25, 2012 Posted March 25, 2012 Prior to the release of the Creation Kit I used Enhanced Perk Points to change the default number of perk points gained per level. I did this so that I'd have access to some of the cooler perks that are less practical, actually being able to explore smithing at early levels without sacrificing combat abilities and to remain competetive against the dragons and creatures from Deadly Dragons on hardcore mode. Unfortunately the game has updated a lot since then and Enhanced Perk Points doesn't work with the newer versions (unless I've missed something else). I've tried to find a mod made with the CK that changes the default perks per level but to no avail so I figured I'd make my own and it'd be more tailor made to my own individual tastes...Not so much. I've spent a couple hours scouring through the Creation Kit trying to find the variable, actor value, or script that controls how may perks you recieve per level but still haven't located anything to that effect. The only way I've seen to add perks is by physically adding the specific perk. I'm hoping that I'm just being silly and missing something rather than the far more depressing possibility of Bethesda locking out modders from use of the perk system and being able to change the default perk numbers. If anyone has found the right variable or setting in the CK or knows of a mod that still functions and does this please point it out to me. Thanks for your time and help,-Zeph
