Adipose
Okay. The author of "Unused NPCs" has set that mod to hidden. I don't know exactly what that means, other than I suppose he's/she's working on it. The problem is that I had uninstalled that mod but it's left a few hitherto unseen NPCs behind and they're cluttering up the game a bit. Most aren't a problem, other than they're using up memory. However, I've just moved into Breezehome and a homeless old guy named Terek as taken up residence...as in squatting in my house. He's kinda entertaining and wouldn't really be a problem except that I've got four followers to make room for and he's kinda in the way. Does anyone know a simple way to get rid of him? I can't kill him without incurring a bounty. I've already looked in Data and he's not there. I'd try reinstalling the file and then deleting from Data, which often works, but I can't access the file now. Be nice if I could go and file a complaint with the Steward and have him officially evicted.
TangerineDog
You could just use the 'disable' console comand on him.Not a clean fix, but he'd be gone. Other than that, reinstall the mod as soon as you get it from somewhere (how did you install it?), open it in the CK and add another package to the guy. He'll move out and take up residence wherever you decide to send him. Then deinstall again and if you're lucky, he'll still be lingering around you game - but not your house. Adipose
Well, I spoke too soon. There is an in-game solution to the Terek problem. Actually a nice bit of by-play. I'll leave it at that. Any thing else would be a spoiler. Good bit of programming on the part of the modder.
DarkRudra
Terek might have been added to your game by a different mod. I am not familiar with Unused NPCs, but I know Relationship Dialogue Overhaul puts him into the game. It also has an option in the MCM menu to disable him. Adipose
yes I've seen that guy in breezehome not really got round to talking to him much,so I take it there is some sort of quest there.thanks Lol! I had occasion to restart with a new game and purchased Breezehome again. Terek still there of course and I basically ignored him while I took care of some other business. When I'd done that I was going to go through the business of removing him. Turned out to be unnecessary. When I went to look him up he was dead, lying on the floor half in the fire pit. I'm pretty sure that he walked into the pit and burned to death. Now I've got a corpse in my entry and not sure about what to do with it. Hopefully, when I go back for a restart he'll be gone. If not, I suppose I'll just work over him. Skyrim, gotta love it.
