NETZ2121
So I'm having trouble with my game crashing. I have a save where I start in Megaton and after leaving Megaton and going to the open workd it crashes after about 30 secs of walking around in the world. Im also noticing a bit of a stutter. Im not sure if some mods i have installed are just not work well together or if its something else. I aslo should mention I have the 3gb enabler and FOSE on my game. Any advice on the load order or any mods that I should have or shouldn't have would be welcomed highly. Thanks! Also heres my specsgeforce GTX 1060 6gbI7-77008gb ram Heres my load orderGameMode=Fallout3 Fallout3.esm=1Anchorage.esm=1ThePitt.esm=1StreetLights.esm=1BrokenSteel.esm=1PointLookout.esm=1Zeta.esm=1Unofficial Fallout 3 Patch.esm=1DCInteriors_ComboEdition.esm=1Mart's Mutant Mod.esm=1Project Beauty.esm=1EVE.esm=1ArefuExpandedByAzar.esm=1CRAFT.esm=1CALIBR.esm=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esm=1RH_IRONSIGHTS.esm=1CASM.esp=1BetterGamePerformance.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - Main File.esp=1DC Moods.esp=1URWLENB-002-Interiors.esp=1MTC Wasteland Travellers.esp=1WeaponModKits.esp=1RH_WMK_Bridge.esp=1WeaponModKits - FWE Master Release.esp=1MoreMapMarkers.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Broken Steel.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Anchorage.esp=1Realistic Interior Lighting.esp=1CrowdedCities_v2_lessNPCs.esp=0CrowdedCities_v2.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Point Lookout.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC Mothership Zeta.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Point Lookout.esp=1MTC Wasteland Travellers (Optional)- Crowded Cities.esp=1MTC Wasteland Travellers (Optional)- Crowded Cities less NPCs.esp=0Realistic Interior Lighting - PL.esp=1RH_IronSights_Basic_AnchoragePlugin.esp=1RH_IronSights_Basic_ZetaPlugin.esp=1RH_IronSights_PL_NewItems.esp=1ArefuExpandedByAzar-Radio.esp=1IMPACT.esp=1dD - Enhanced Blood Main.esp=1Project Beauty- Broken Steel.esp=1Project Beauty- Point Lookout.esp=1Flora Overhaul.esp=1FO3 Wanderers Edition - DLC The Pitt.esp=1GNR Enhanced.esp=1Rivet City Merchants.esp=1ColtM4Carbines.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Broken Steel.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC The Pitt.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Zeta.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - Zones Respawn.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - DLC Anchorage.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - Natural Selection.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - Tougher Traders.esp=1Max Level 99.esp=1megalight.esp=1Realistic Interior Lighting - OA.esp=1Realistic Interior Lighting - BS.esp=1RH_IronSights_Basic_VanillaPlugin.esp=1RH_IronSights_Pitt_NewRifleSights.esp=1RH_IronSights_Basic_PointLookoutPlugin.esp=1RH_IronSights_Basic_PittPlugin.esp=1RH_IronSights_Basic_BrokenSteelPlugin.esp=1RH_IronSights_RemoveReticule.esp=1HZSmoothLight - FO3.esp=1BlackWolf Backpack.esp=1BlackWolf Backpack - Vendor Script Replenish.esp=1BlackWolf Backpack - Blank's Container Patch.esp=1lessviewdistance.esp=1VanishingPiles.esp=1Mart's Mutant Mod - Master Menu Module.esp=1 Edited January 12, 2018 by isnets21
M48A5
Please see the article "How to ask for help" http://wiki.nexusmods.com/index.php/How_to_ask_for_help In addition to showing your load order, what else have you added that does not show up in the load order. For example, texture enhancements, FOSE, Large Address Enabler, etc.? On the description pages of the larger mods (FWE), there are examples of load orders. Have you read any of them? Your compatibility patches are not in the correct order. Compatibility patches must load after the mods that are being patched. Mods with multiple plugins should have the plugins arranged in the same order as the vanilla game. Have you made the changes to the fallout.ini (the one in the Documents folder) to limit your cpu to two cores?
Deleted21304489User
I don't see a merged patch, I don't see the proper Blackened patch either. That's a start. Also, if you want to know what mods are in conflict, then I recommend becoming familiar with FO3Edit and run a conflict report. Finally, don't use LOOT to help you sort your load order. I'm guessing that's what you're using, as BOSS would not place some on the mods in your load order where they are currently. Good luck.
M48A5
Your FWE plugins are out of order. See the FWE description page for a sample load order. I have had a problem with Arefu Expanded where you could not walk to Arefu without the game crashing. It did not make any difference from which direction I approached or left Arefu, the game would crash. Fast Travel was not a problem, only walking to and from Arefu. You should be using the Blackened patch for FWE and MMM. Read the instructions carefully and follow them to the letter. Compatibility patches must be loaded after the last mod that is being patched. Otherwise it is just a waste of space to use them as they will be overwritten by one of the plugins you are trying to patch.
Deleted21304489User
I recommend not using any mods like Arefu Expanded, that use NavMeshes. A lot of mod authors don't know how to employ them properly... thus constant game crashing. IE: any mod adding external structures should be avoided. That's just me though. FYI: my game is virtually ctd free, because of this and other practices. Also, it's not stated on the Blackened page, but you should load Blackened after your merged patch and after you have created the merged patch. Again, understanding the reason for this, means being savvy with FO3Edit. It's all about conflicts. That's what load order is all about, after all. A good rule of thumb, is that if you're new to modding... you may just want to stick to a few choice mods at first. Less headache that way. I'm pretty experienced and I only run 75 active mods. Well, actually 107, but the rest are bashed together. Heads Up: You'll want to get the paradox version of MMM. This will reduce your load order and it's the only version that works with Blackened as well. Read the description pages man. ^^
kschang77
Really, blackened goes AFTER the merged patches? Interesting. My setup is mostly stable now (it only freezes when I do a fast travel, and not always, maybe 5% of the time, and only after long play sessions) but I am looking into a freezup with one of the mods called revamped leveling. Deleted21304489User
Yes, it does. However, also... keep in mind, Blackened is designed specifically to run the mods it patches. If you add additional mods outside of what it's made to do... you will need to address issues with leveled lists, form id's, etc. Otherwise Blackened can negate those mods that implement additions to said lists that are already fixed.
