Hello all

Just thought I would start a seperate place to do nothing but share War Zone Stories. this was inspired by acthulius post onWar Zones

If you have an interesting story to tell from your War Zones experience, a herioc tale to tell, and funny death story. Please tell it and lets all have a good laugh

If you want to tell a story, but are having trouble comming up with one. try using what is already in the game, for instance: how I got the arrow in my knee (and make it a War Zone story), how i lost my Sweet Role, how I wanted to become a merchant, how your sneak is great and you can kill imperials and Stormcloaks but not be detected. etc.

If you have a comment about a certain story, post it on the War Zones Mod, Make sure you list who wrote the story and be creative with your comment

My most recent story was this

I just made a new Redguard (downloaded the Redguard Knight Armor) and I cheated some, well some more :P

I used console commands to get the armor and weapon, and thought hmm I will give him block (haven't had a character with block in a long while) so used another console command to get the Shield of Targe.

Now I am thinking, I am ready for War Zones, I run from Riverwood to Whiterun, help the companions kill the Giant and hit him pretty hard.

I run alittle further and see the Stormcloaks (I haveLumps Stormcloak and Imperial mod for War Zones , the newest one adds Stormcloak Berserkers).

Well to my suprise and it served me right, 4 Berserkers run toward me, and being level 7 with 20 heavy armor rating, they cleaned my clock, so I reload, buy all the health potions I can afford, make some more with my low alchemy and head back, do it again and killed 2 berserkers before I had used 40 health potions.

Hrm, what to do, ah I will lower the difficulty to Novice, that should do it. not, this time I accidently hit an Imperial, so now I have Stormcloak and Imperials chasing me and then the Whiterun guards started chasing me because I was to close to Whiterun when I hit the imperial.

Died again, well time to level my Heavy armor, so I go to up the mountain from Riverwood to let the lone bandit there beat on me some to raise my Heavy Armor, just my luck I had forgotten to lower the diffulty on Deadly Dragons and an "Event" happened, died again.

Ok so now I make sure all the settings are on novice, turn Events off in DD, set DD to Default and head back up to do some tanking.

Finally, I am getting somewhere, get my Heavy armor up to 40, and doing pretty good (or so I thought) am level 12 now, and start heading across country to Whitrerun, just my luck it is night time, and I run into a vampire, who sends me to an early death, :teehee:

Now this is one unlucky character, maybe I shouldn't use command codes and get the items I want the old fashoined way

I am Hargand Lordstrum a true son of Skyrim. The Imperials sold out the Empire and we will re-establish it starting in Skyrim 1st. I have slain many Dragons and all my armor and weapons are made from the great beasts. I use a greatsword, what true warrior would hide behind a shield. I had my Dragon Armor specially crafted and the makers call it Brutal Dragonbone Armor. It's not Brutal to me but it is to my foes.

In my travels I have only come across small skirmishs with the Imperials until recently. I ran into a whole Army of Imperials not far from Solitude. I swear they kept impaling themselves on my greatsword, and after more than a 1/2 hr of battle the bodies were to numerous to count. If it had gone on any longer I believe I would have made the journey to Sovngarde.

All hail Ulfric Stormcloak the true High King of Skyrim.

I recently escaped from prison by the blessing of Mara, and began a new life as a student at the College of Winterhold. I had an afternoon off from classes and decided to go for a walk down the road towards the Shrine of Azura. As I crested a hill I saw a group of skeletons. Thankfully I had learned a special Dynamic Ward spell just that morning and so between that and my loyal conjured familiar, was able to fend them off with heavy blasts of fire. Feeling pretty smug I continued up the hill and around a bend...

There were shades, draugr and skeletons in such vast numbers that I was forced to hitch up my mages robes and run hell for leather back down the hill. I ducked behind an outcrop and hid. After that I decided to leave my countryside jaunts until I could convince one of the other students to come with me.

I was Trolling along on my little Black Pony eeeeerrrrrpppppp scratch that, wrong game :P

I was Trotting along on my Black Stallion, nope not that either

I was Riding along the quiet countryside mounted on my Stealthy Black Steed, dispatching the wolves, Spriggans and Bears as they came at me, and my Stealthy Black Steed did his part too.

Ah what is this? a battle, well I will just go in and show them who is boss :hurr:

I get closer and to my amazement, there are hoards of Necromancers fighting Hoards of Stormcloaks. This should be fun as I am a Woodland Elf, master of the Bow.

I choose my spot, dismount and let fly my first arrow. Critical hit, YES. Oops a barrage of lightning bolts, flame bolts, ice bolts come flying, no Stealthy Black Stead, don't fight them, run for your life. :ermm: Run Run Run

I run, dodge and let fly more of my trusty arrows, running around and around (getting dizzy)dodging and fireing, dispatching Necromancers, skeletons, Stormcloaks.

OH NO, Stealthy Black Steed don't go there, get away.

I run to my Stealthy Black Horse's rescue, dispatching Stormcloaks and Skeletons.

Run, dodge, let fly My Trusty Arrows, one down, two down, three down, last one down, My Stealthy Black Steed is saved

Finally the last of the Bad Guys is taken care of, My Trusty Arrows served me well

Wait what is this? My poor poor Stealthy Black Steed, may he rest in peace

I say a prayer over My Stealthy Black Steed, and walk away.

What is this?

well hello there

My new Speedy Paint Stallion and I ride off into the sunset.

Awaiting the next battle

I am running down toward Whiterun from Riverwood for the first time on a new character. As I approach the stables, I hear the clash of battle. Stormcloaks! An entire platoon is flanking an Imperial platoon locked in a fierce battle with a rabble of bandits. I run up hoping to prosper from this battle by looting every corpse in sight. "Well now isn't this a surprise," a bandit yells. I turn to run but it is too late. My head rolls on the ground.

I used to be an adventurer like you, untill I got this.........................

I have been an adventurer for a very long time now, I have been all over Tamriel.

Have been to Morrowind, fought for the Imperial Legion, took out the Dark Brotherhood, saved Morrowinid by uniting the Dunmer with the House Hlaalu, the Redoran and Telvanni, with the aid of Azura took out Dagoth Ur saving Morrowind, been to Solstheim, transfered there when i was with the Imperial Legion, have seen my fair share of wolves, plague bears, berserkers and rieklings. Had a few minor injuries there, but nothing a trip to the healers could not fix. It was there that I met my one true love, Laurenna, when i help her save her family and restore Lokken Castle to the rightful owners.

Have Traveled all over Cyrodiil, closed multiple Oblivion gates, I was there when Uriel Septim VII was murdered by the Mythic Dawn, aided Bruma in getting rid of the Ogre up north, for a short time I was joined with the Fighters Guild and my lowest point in my career happened there when I was drugged by the Blackwood Company, and did some horrible things, I closed the Great gate and was there when Martin Septim became the Avatar of Akatosh and defeated Mehrunes Dagon.

I was there and became the Divine Crusader, defeating Umaril the Unfeathered, in a massive battle, it took me a year to recooperate from that battle.

I then retired from the soldiers life or so i thought. I decided in my retirement to travel to Skyrim for some relaxation and the quiet life. My poor Laurenna had taken ill and had to stay in Cyrodiil

I was on a quiet road from Riverwood, where I met some really nice people who told me i should go to Whiterun, well on my way to Whiterun I was just past some brewery or something like that, I gave up drinking years before :P , walking past that point I heard a loud fight, only to witness some mercenaries killing a rather large creature, a Giant of a man, so I assisted them as best I could and they let me know about the Companions.

I thought I might take a look at the companions, but what i realy wanted was to visit the Fighters guild and talk over days gone bye

I was just about to turn up the path to Whiterun when I heard the laud clash of a battle, I looked and saw some Imperial Soldiers in battle with some warriors in cloaks, well being a former Imperial Legion I had to assist the Imperials, so I let loose as best I could. I killed quite a few of them but the archers got me, the Imperial Soldiers took care of the rest and thanked me for assisting them and suggested I go and see Arcadia for some healing potions, so I went there and am at about 75%, but what never healed was this darn ARROW IN MY KNEE, I see all the young adventurers goiing about and I envy them.

I have taken a Job with the Whiterun guard helping protect the town of Whiterun, it is a nice slow job, not what i am used to but it will have to do with my bad knee and all :D

After the Redgaurd at the Whiterun gate asked me to inform him at Rorikstead if I had any information, I did basically what I knew to do. Spoke to the Redguard in the Bannered Mare, yada yada yada.

So I'm on my way to Rorikstead, feeling good as a level ten with Requiem installed. Here be Stormcloaks, and Imperials. As an Imperial I took the side of the Imperials and joined the fray, death happening all around me, slashing down a few people. A Stormcloak has come up behind me (I play in first person with iHUD, but I could hear her behind me) with a greataxe in hand, ready to decapitate me. I turn around, shield bash her before she can do anything, and wildly swing my sword. I did kill her, but unfortunately I get a killcam on an Imperial. Now the Stormcloaks and the Imperials are against me, and I'm surrounded. So I run down the road to Rorikstead.

Ahead I see more carnage. The Imperials are fighting a hopeless battle against the Forsworn, and even though the Imperials were against me at the time, they seemed to think the Forsworn were the greater threat. I help them out, knowing I'd have to either kill or run from the Imperials, but also that I can't get away from the massive Forsworn battalion.

So now the arrows are flying - mostly Forsworn ones. Time and time again I die from a destructive barrage of arrows, until I discovered a ledge where I was relatively safe to be in. The Forsworn that came down to my ledge I quickly dispatched, until there were no more who would come down. So I run behind a large rock, hide there, and wait for them to come to me again. In the end I got them all, but died about twenty times.

It was fun!
