panzersharkcat
Right now I'm trying to set up leveling to be more like New Vegas. Trying to find the settings so that perks are gained every other level and fewer skill points are gained per level. As I raised the level cap to 50, I want to avoid the possibility of getting stuck on the level up menu, unless that was already fixed in one of the official patches and I never knew about it. Fonger
well there was "level-up workaround" that simply allowed you to exit the level up screen but it seems to have vanished from the nexus
panzersharkcat
Hmm. According to Nukapedia, that was fixed.http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Skill_point"It was actually possible to kill your game if you were not careful when assigning skill points, especially with Broken Steel. It is very possible to make a character that, when level 30, has 100 skill point assigned in all 13 skills, which at one time would make it impossible to distribute any more, subsequentially keeping the character at the "level up menu" permanently. This was fixed in a post-release patch, however." Still don't quite know what to do about the perks, though.
Gribbleshnibit8
What might work would be a script that runs and checks for the level up menu (MenuMode 1027). You then increment a variable for the first time that menu shows up. The second time, you just run a script that uses FOSE command con_CloseAllMenus to close the menu down without any (that I know) side effects. It would need testing to make sure, but that might do it.
