This isn't really a huge problem, but it's really bugging me to have plugins that I originally had from Steam Workshop hanging around in the plugin section of NMM when I don't use them anymore. (They aren't checked off, just sitting there acting like they belong.)

Is there a way to remove them from the list? D:

Not yet, you have to go into the skyrim/data folder and manually remove them. Then relaunch NMM and they're no longer there.

Oh. I didn't even think of that. Thanks so much. My OCD loves you.

Remember to back up your data folder before you start deleting mods. Also know that just uninstalling/unchecking a mod does not always removed or disable the data changes it made on installation.

I did what you said but the plugins are still shown in the NMM.

I have hardcore OCD and I have the same problem. I did what you said and like Mr.Grumpy says they still show on NMM. Can anyone help me before my head explodes?

Edit: Sorry I was looking in my documents folder and couldn't find them so i assumed they were already deleted. Thanks!

Hi, I came across this thread before when I was looking for a way to get rid of the plugins that I don't use. I recently found out how to do it and thought I'd share for the OCD people around. Actually the simplest solutions go unnoticed. Just open up Skyrim and on the startup window, below options, click data files and you can manage them there.

Happy cleaning. :)

You didn't really do it right all of you didn't do it right when deleting the mod, don't actually click it and hit the delete button that doesn't do anything, you have to uninstall it the mod manager than pulls out all the files it installed and deletes it you do this by right click on the mod not the plug ins, on the mod listings when you right click you go to uninstall and delete and boom it's gone and no longer in your game saves you the heartache of going back in and deleting all the files and accidentally deleting the games files mistaking it for the mod, and then having to wipe the game by uninstalling and reinstalling from scratch, so hopefully this will save you gays from pain in asses. Glad I could be of help
