BlackCompany
I think Bethesda changed the way Smithing works in 1.5. I believe it is no longer possible to power level smithing as was previously the case. Lost Art might also slow it down, though, I don't think so, since I also use this mod and remember (accidentally) power leveling smithing with the mod installed. Might want to double check me, but I do believe its the patch that slows it down. I think, as you make higher level gear, it will increase faster. jet4571
doesn't smithing go up partially based upon how much the item is worth now? so iron daggers being one of the cheapest items smithing will increase very little from making them? Anyway the smithing changes was to prevent powerleveling and I have no idea why they would do that. I could see if this was an MMO to maintain balance but this is a single player where you have console commands and could be level 80 with all skills and perks before you even get to the chopping block. It makes no sense to make smithing even more tedious to level, its like they dont want the majority of players to use it because those players dont want to grind away at smithing as is. I myself did the smithing grind and now i use a bat file and instantly have full smithing.
