How to Connect a House to the Outside World?

I'm having trouble as to what I need to do to connect a small house with three people crammed in it to the outside world of Tamriel. What do I need to do? I see a preset door on one of the walls, which I want, but do I need to add a new door? And, then what do I do for the outside world? Do I place a 'Farmhouse', add another door to the outside, and link them together? Please don't refer me to the Bethesda one that was already made. I'm making a house. NOT a dungeon. TY

it should work the same as the dungeon, u need to click teleport on the doors options then tell it where to teleport to. if u want there to be a house in the outside then yes add one and a door and when u click teleport you can just select link door and double click on the outside one to make them both function together.

TY. It worked. :) Now, how do i make it so that a follower can get out of and into the house? Do I need to put a script on the follower that says he can enter and exit the house, or does it have to do with the navmesh? Edited by BeastlyBeast

TBH you are better of navmeshing manually, the auto generation does some wierd stuff more often than not, and even if it doesn't then you will probably spend as much time correcting the bits that it eff's up as it would take to create manually anyway. Oh, and your NPC's won't be able to enter/exit until you have finalized both the interior and the exterior cell that it connects to.
