rafale09
I made a little mod that turns chef's clothing into light armor, so that I can use it while benefiting from the light armor perks. I also tried to make it upgradable at the bench using vampire dust, but the armor rating doesn't seem to increase. Does the material really matter in this case? i.e. should I be using something like leather instead of vampire dust? I just thought that since nightingale armor is upgradable with void salts, maybe everything would work (even butterfly wings, for example). ghosu
I don't think it is influenced by the material...so you set it to ArmorHeavy in the editor ID, right? How 'bout the box next to WEIGHT in the amor form that says LIGHT / HEAVY / NONE ...maybe that works?
BlackCompany
Add a keyword to your armor. Probably want to use something armormaterial leather or armormaterial hide. This will let you temper the armor once you have the associated smithing perk. This is the arbitrary method Bethesda used to separate smithing into multiple, yet utterly identical, perks. rafale09
So I can add a leather or hide keyword and still be able to use vampire dust to temper it, right?
