TexasCeltic
Hi I'm an disable person who is trying to play Skyrim Special Edition. I was looking for a lineup of mods to help me play. At lest 5 followers to help me kill. Make sure I do not kill the followers either I'm bad at that. Like I said I'm not that great of a player. I play on pc but use a game control to play game. Is there any subjestion?
Niborino9409
Yup, AFT, Advanced Follower Tweaks, makes it so that you can have 5 followers with you. Advanced Follower Tweaks SE With AFT you can set followers to essential(think they are by default). I also use a controller, works great :) For followers, that depends on what you want. The Nexus has tons of follower mods. Ranged, melee, magic, a pack of followers, single follower?
jeedge
I recommend some standalone followers because these mods are easy to install and each standalone follower has their own follower "AI". Sofia will stick with you like glue and tje voice acting and content for her is, bar-none, the best I've seen so far. Plus, she apparently has limitless storage capacity which comes in handy. So I recommend: Recorder (Riverwood tavern), Sofia (Whiterun Horse stables), Vilja (Bannered Mare tavern), and Inigo - then one vanilla or generic follower. You can have multiple standalone followers plus ONE generic follower so this would give you your five. The generic follower could be a housecarl like Lydia or any other number of vanilla followers out there or you can look at the Nexus Mods Categories "Followers" to find more. The names of the standalone followers are the MOST downloaded follower mods for Skyrim SE at the moment. I wouldn't bother installing AFT (Amazing Follower Tweaks) or EFF (Extensible Follower Framework) unless you are comfortable running LOOT and moving mods around in your load order. Simplest approach:RecorderSofiaViljaInigoand one vanilla follower
Moksha8088
If you do not make use of god mode, Vilja can also help heal you if you set her to do so. She can also help guide you out of those large dungeons if you get lost. She has the ability to not get stuck in any mod you might play, no matter if it is poorly nav meshed. Inigo seems to be everyone's favorite and he and Vilja have a bunch of lines together. Sofia has overwhelming appeal with young male players for reasons that become obvious once you meet her. Sofia is also a fairly aggressive fighter. Advanced character mods are much more enjoyable than any of the vanilla characters. Besides Inigo, Vilja, and Sofia, the following are also highly desirable as companions: M'rissiAuri (Song of the Green mod)Interesting NPCs - available for Skyrim SE at the website 3DNPC.com (this will double the number of quests for Skyrim)Aurlyn Dawnstone
Moksha8088
Oh yeah, Inigo and Vilja have more lines of dialogue than all other characters combined.
Niborino9409
I second Vilja, she'll be a really helpful addition with the guiding system. She can even have a follower of her own so that'll help even more ;D
