filledb
There are a couple of things I could use some help on. First off, how does one make an item upgradeable at the smithy? What I mean is that I can change already item from heavy to light armor, change the stats, the price etc to reflect the fact that it is light armor, but when I go to the workbench to upgrade it, it doesn't appear. Where do I find this setting? The next question is how do I put this into an existing merchants stock so that I can buy it? The last question is how does one go about making it a craftable item in the smithy? I don't use cheats and am very lore abiding so I don't want to just dump it in the nearest chest so it miraculously appears for my avatar. If anyone can either answer these questions, or point me at a site where the answers are I would be awfully grateful. Peace Meredith
ghosu
Hello Never added an item to a merchant but i guess you have to add it directly to the merchant's stock / container in CK...so i would check out merchant tutorials on Youtube. I guess the item form needs a VendorItemWeapon / armor / whatever ID entry as well. You could check out http://www.creationkit.com/Creating_a_Merchant as well and reverse engineer it. To make it craftable you have to add a RECIPE form.To make it upgradeable you have to add a TEMPER form. So in fact you just have to search for a form, RecipeWeaoponNAME or RecipeArmorNAME / TemperWeaonNAME or TemperArmorNAME, copy it and change NAME/ID and set the dropdown box on the top right side that shows the created item to your item. Or check out part 4 of my signature tutorial. greetings Edited March 29, 2012 by ghosu
