Lore names for generic weapons

So, there's a number of fairly generic weapons in fallout 4, like "assaullt rifle." I'm looking into the possibility of more technical, lore-accurate names. Like, I think the 10mm pistol was once previously identified as a n99 in a previous game's lore. What gun, for instance, does the assault rifle most look like?

Based on info from here and the older games...

 

Well, lets see:

Assault Rifle - Lewis Mk. VI or higher

10mm Pistol - Colt N99

Combat Rifle (has features similar to both the PPSh-41 and the BAR) - PPSh-64 or BAR M2064

Combat Shotgun (very similar in appearance to the Combat Rifle) - DSh-62 or Browning Auto 8 (use whichever one matches the Combat Rifle)

Hunting Rifle - Remington Model 700, Model 700 VTR with the synthetic stock.

Minigun - Rockwell CZ53

Submachine Gun - Thompson M1928A1

.44 Pistol - Smith & Wessen Model 29

Double Barrel Shotgun - There are so many possibilities, either search around and just pick one, or leave it.

Missile Launcher - PIAT Mk. 3 or higher

Handmade Rifle - Handmade AKM

Lever-Action Rifle - Marlin Model 1895

Radium Rifle - VG 1-5 Radium Rifle (VG is Volksturmgewehr)

Laser Rifle - AER9A1

Institute Laser - AER16A1

Plasma Rifle - Q-38A2

Flamer - Flambe 500

Fat Man - M-42 Tactical Nuclear Launcher, or M-42 Fat Man

Gatling Laser - HEW4

 

Extras:

Deliverer - Walther PPK, but the Deliverer is a unique weapon, so I'd leave it alone, personally

Syringer - Homemade Tranq Rifle

 

Obviously you could expand or shorten any of those. The 'Colt N99' could just be the 'N99' or the 'HEW4' could be the 'HEW4 Gatling Laser', or 'HEW4 Rotary Laser'.

You could go even further and give names to the various pre-war explosives, but all the other projectile weapons are handmade, alien, super generic, or don't have a counterpart in the real world or in lore.

 

If you don't see my justification for some names I'd be happy to explain.
