Beta patch crash at launch

I tried to use the beta patch as a temporary fix for nav mesh issues but found it CTD at launch of game so I reverted back to 1.5 buggy patch and all was ok.. Now suddenly my game crashes at launch and beta patch is no longer there to trial

Has it been released as full patch in which case my Skyrim fun is completely bombed as nothing works

Anyone else having this trouble and/or possible solutions :ohdear:

Thanks in advance

I have exactly the same issue.

Tested .26 while beta -> appcrash with kernelbase.dll module fault, game doesn't start

Rolled back to .24 -> all ok

Today .26 is out of beta and steam autoupdated -> same crash as beta and game wont start

This is really increadible

When do you realize, tha there is nothing game braking flaws in patches? All people just complain - when they have fekked up their Skyrim with mods - I mean mine has ALWAYS worked well, every patch no problem, just some little bugs - which btw have reduced very much with every update - if you can't handle your computer - don't install mods. dot.

oh yeah it is incredible ...

sorry to have rattled your anti-modding chain

Modding and using Mods have been a part of elder scrolls for ages and people do like the creative side of the game. Quite why you felt you had to post your comment here I a not sure but please if you are unable to be constructive just read, and ignore the post not reply with unhelpful and unwarranted comments.

Fixed after a fashion.. Did a full reinstall of game plus updates and had mods safetly backed up with save games.. after reinstal I just dropped ALL mods back in, fired up my last savegame and job was a good one... I have seen elsewhere scriptdragon is a problem until it gets updated but I didn't have that running in my selection so all was good ..

Bit of a pain to have to do it but at least I am back gaming again

Hope anyone else with this issue finds a less time consuming fix but if all else fails it worked for me
