Kuroshio01
Hello, I been making some followers and I run into a problem I can't figure out. I been using some custom voices, but when I log on, the prompt where the message comes up doesn't show in game for my follower to join. When I use the default voice like even toned it works. Does anyone know what I have to do do to get it to recognize my custom voice settings. Usually I set Faction to-1 Current Follower Faction0 Potention Follower Faction
agerweb
Have you got you custom voice files in the right directory. Should be in sound\voice\yourmodname.esp\ and also have you created a SEQ file
Kuroshio01
yes I have the files in there and my dialogue works fine. The problem I'm having is this.In traits I set my voice type, to the custom one I created. But it takes away the promt in game that allows me to invite the follower "Follow Me, I need Help" I usually set in Factions-1 Current Follower, which allows this prompt0 Potential Follower. If I use the default Voice Like (Even Toned or others, It works fine)So I'm trying to get the "Follow Me, I need Help" prompt to show up on the list with my new voice type In game like it should. The prompt is not even part of the custom dialogue. It's dialogue part of the faction setting.Hope that makes sence. Edited January 20, 2018 by Kuroshio01
agerweb
So did you copy a 'follow me' line in the DialogueFollower quest and changed the voicetype and dialogue line to something different?
Tasheni
In the voice type there's a checkbox "allow default dialogue", activate this. I suspect you have set up your dialogue quest correctly with the alias as specific reference = your actor and in the alias data the same factions like you have set in the actor's faction tab. Look at this tutorial to check your settings:http://skyrimmw.weebly.com/skyrim-modding/making-a-custom-follower-skyrim-modding-tutorial I suspect you have recorded your dialogue right. Check the box "Force subtitles" in the dialogue response window. Make a new seq file. Test it on a new game. Turn on the subtitles in your game settings.
