Consistent Flying Horse?!

Having a terrible time with a bug that causes the horse I'm riding to spazz out and start sliding and flying. I can faithfully replicate the bug by simply opening my map or skill menu. I've made sure that vsync is on and this is the first real bug I've encountered in my entire play through. I've also tried disabling most of the mods I have that edit AI and horses or animals and similar functions but all to no avail. I've also been running FNIS like a good boy.

 

I'm at my wits end.

Edit: Solved. Seemed to be lazy tools that was causing my issue.

Hello sorry to necro this thread but can you tell me how did you fix it?i'm experiencing same problem on Skyrim SSE.When i am riding horse and save while i'm on it and then reload the save horse starts flying.

Don't save when you are on horseback. Get off, save, get back on, ride away. :)
