I found a shotgun called IF-88 on a Raider and I never installed a mod with that weapon. The most recently installed mod I have it the Wattz laser rifle and the accompanying custom reticle download. The only weapon mods I have installed are the Desert Eagle, the aforementioned Wattz laser rifle, and the Widow shotgun.

This is my mod list if anyone has any ideas. I'm relatively new to playing Fallout 4 so if my mod list offends you now you know why.

An easy way to see what each mod adds to the game is to look at them in FO4Edit. Not only can you look under weapons, clothing, armor to see them and their stats- you can copy as override into a merged patch or new plug-in to make changes to them. For instance, get the id of the shotgun in the game through clicking on it in console and then quit the game and load your plug-ins in x-edit (FO4Edit). Now at the top left you will see a search box where you can type in the item id code and x-edit will find it for you and highlight it. Now, let's say that you want it to do a bit more damage. Right click on the weapon entry in the list under weapons and go to copy as override into and then pick a plug-in to do that. In the override you can change the value for the base damage of the weapon to whatever you like. Sorry if this doesn't make perfect sense. It takes practice to become comfortable doing these types of edits. But after a few successes it becomes really easy and opens up many more possibilities for you. Good luck and have fun!

I'm getting a message that says "Picked Non Ref AV Object".

Edit: I quicksaved and loaded and it gave me an ID.

It's not giving me any indication where it is.

I don't have that mod installed though.

Have you removed any mods from your current game? Like I said, FO4Edit list everything added by each mod. You just have to find them.

Just Keynuker, because it wasn't working right. Other than that I've kept every mod I've downloaded.

Just look under the weapon lists of each mod in x-edit. You don't have that many mods so it shouldn't be that hard to find. You might also want to learn about merged patches if you haven't already.

I found it. It was in the Minuteman Overhaul mod. There's also apparently a bunch of weapons that were added that I haven't found yet. Thanks for the help.
