Lee5Lee
Hello! I just started making mods for DA:O. Sorry if it was asked before (or if my question is super-stupid), but I couldn't find any information on topic. So here's my question: is it possible to edit an existing mod? So far I can open a module.erf file and see all the content and even open parts of module, but when I edit them, it gives no result in game ^_^' Thank you! I've made personal edits of lots of mods, so yes, it is possible... it depends on exactly what you are trying to edit, though, how the edits are made, and to some extent, how you are trying to inject the edits into the game. Well, as for now, I wanted to add some dialogue to Saarebas follower mod. It's an awesome mod, but it has about 2,5 dialogues, and I wanted to expand that part. Could you please suggest, where to start? As for now I found _main.dlg file, but I can't edit dialogue in general, only change existing lines. Then I can save the file separately from .erf file. These changes does not appear in game. I know, I'm lame ^_^' Thank you! Edited January 21, 2018 by Lee5Lee
theskymoves
Urgh. Sorry... I know how to edit vanilla dialogue with the toolset, but I don't have any experience with editing (or adding to) modded dialogue.
Lee5Lee
Thank you very much anyway! It's probably should be provided by author as mod resourse anyway, for being redacted by other people... Sad that some cool mods just left abandoned.
