BlackRampage
I am using winrar, but when i extract the files to dataDon't. Unzip them in some other location, then have a look at the folder structure of the unzipped folder and read the readme to find out where to put them. it comes a lot of error messages. What kind of error messages? The ones asking you whether or you wish to override (merge, actually) the folders already present in the data folder?

BlackRampage
Let me guess. You've installed Fallout 3 in the Program Files directory? If so, Windows UAC (User Account Control) is the source of your problem. There's 3 ways to remedy this: 1: Disable Windows UAC. (Not recommended unless you have quite a bit of experience with computers.) 2: Look up your Fallout 3 install folder and open it's properties. Then open the "security" tab to change user permissions/restrictions. 3: Uninstall Fallout 3 from the Program Files folder and re-install it in a folder not affected by windows UAC. (Best long-term solution.)
Danidude1
How do i re-install it in a folder not affected by UAC?

BlackRampage
It's been quite some time I last installed Fallout 3, but most programs do allow you to install it into whatever folder you choose. You could, for example, let it install into C:\ Games \ Fallout 3 (If you don't have that folder just yet, then just create it.)
Danidude1
Ok, i can do it tomorow or on monday, i will see how it goes then. but in the meantime, i think i have founded a way to make it work, by extracting to a temperary folder, and then copy the file into the data folder.
